<p>Blizzard has announced the next Diablo IV Developer Update Livestream, set for <strong>September 16 at 11 a.m. PDT (8 p.m. CEST)</strong>. <p>To claim it, you will need to:</p>

<p>With 5.8 is finally over, we can look back at this versions <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/stygian-onslaught">Stygian Onslaught</a> to see who was best in a Low-Cost environment. This is the perfect retrospective for who some of the best characters are in a F2P environment.</p>

<p>For the first boss of Stygian Onslaught. <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/mavuika-guide-best-builds">Mavuika </a>unsurprisingly performed the best by a wide margin as befitting of the Pyro Archon. <br>The second boss on the other hand is much more interesting with a 0 Cost team being present due to <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/gaming-guide-best-builds">Gaming </a>who is perfectly suited to fight the Battle-Hardened Tent Tortoise. <br>For the final boss, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/ineffa-guide-best-builds">Ineffa </a>reigns supreme using <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/xingqiu-guide-best-builds">Xingqiu</a>, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/fischl-guide-best-builds">Fischl </a>and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/sucrose-guide-best-builds">Sucrose</a>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What is Total Cost?</h2>



<p>Total Cost, or simply &#8220;Cost&#8221; is a way of measuring relative investment in team compositions. To put it simply, a 5-Star character, constellation or weapon counts as 1 Cost. Your &#8220;standard premium team&#8221; for example featuring 4 5-Star characters would be considered a 4 Cost team composition.</p>



<p>With the examples above, many teams use 0-3 cost and showcases exactly how effectively characters can clear Dire difficulty in <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/genshin-impact/stygian-onslaught">Stygian Onslaught</a> without expensive or heavy investment into your wallet.</p>

<p>Most of the time, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> feedback ends up pointing at the Skill Tree. But in a recent Reddit thread, players brought up a different angle. Maybe the real problem is not the tree at all, but the Paragon Boards that take over once you hit level 60. </p>



<p>That is where a lot of frustration comes in. Leveling through the Skill Tree feels rewarding, but as soon as Paragon kicks in, progression suddenly feels empty.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is Wrong With the Skill Tree</h2>



<p>A lot of players jokingly call it the &#8220;<em>Skill Twig&#8221;</em>, because it is just too small and limited. It does the job when you are leveling, but once you are past the mid-game it stops feeling exciting and does not really push builds forward. The same builds keep coming up season after season, and instead of making the underused abilities stronger, the good ones get nerfed, causing a lot of frustration.</p>



<p>Blizzard has hinted that a future update (and maybe even the next expansion) will give the Skill Tree a major rework, and players are definitely hoping for major changes this time!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Bigger Problem &#8211; Paragon Boards</h2>



<p>Where the Skill Tree at least provides new abilities, Paragon is often described as nothing more than stat padding:</p>



<ul>
<li>99% of nodes give &#8220;+5 to main stat.&#8221;</li>



<li>Occasionally, a node gives &#8220;+10% damage.&#8221;</li>



<li>Players expected something closer to <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/last-epoch" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Last Epoch</a>&#8216;s skill specialization, with meaningful build-altering decisions.</li>
</ul>



<p>One player used <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/hydra-sorcerer-build" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hydra Sorcerer</a> as an example of what Paragon could have been: </p>

<p>Instead, Paragon offers little more than linear power creep, and players are bored by it.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why Endgame Progression Feels Flat</h2>



<p>It basically sums up how most of the community sees it:</p>



<ul>
<li>&#8220;Leveling feels good. Endgame feels bad.&#8221;</li>



<li>Real progression essentially stops at level 60, when the Skill Tree ends.</li>



<li>Paragon does not give players the sense of growth or specialization they crave, even if the stats technically make them stronger.</li>
</ul>



<p>Some players think Blizzard really needs to shake things up. Instead of letting the Skill Tree burn out at level 60, they would like to see it become the true backbone of every build. </p>



<p>On the other side, the Paragon system could use a total rework, maybe even being scrapped in favor of something closer to a second skill tree that actually feels meaningful. </p>



<p>More than anything, players want endgame progression to feel like real choices, not just stacking bigger and bigger numbers.</p>



<p>Blizzard has been teasing some &#8220;big changes&#8221; for upcoming patches and the next expansion, but will those include the wished Skill Tree and Paragon changes? Whichever way it goes, players are pretty clear about one thing. They do not just want more stats. They want real, meaningful choices that keep their builds fun and exciting well past level 60.</p>


Why Paragon May Be a Bigger Problem Than Diablo 4’s Skill Tree


<p>Blizzard sat down for another <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> community Q&amp;A, this time hosted by content creator <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Bluddshed" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bluddshed</a>. He decided to put forward a bunch of player questions to the developers. The conversation covered a wide range of topics, including the loot and itemization!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Torment Loot Fixes</h2>

<p>One of the big issues players raised was Magic and Rare items still dropping in Torment difficulty. This is a feature that really felt out of place. </p>



<p>Developers confirmed this has been addressed partially in season 10! Side quests and Whisper Caches should now reward <strong>Legendary items instead</strong>, and the team is working on remaining bugs to make sure Torment loot feels consistent and much better.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Loot Filters</h2>



<p>The devs also acknowledged the biggest pain point for endgame players, and that is loot clutter. Between <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/lair-boss-system-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lair bosses and big farming sessions</a>, the screen quickly fills with unwanted items. </p>



<p>Diablo 4 already has some &#8220;smart filtering&#8221; behind the scenes, but Blizzard admitted this system has hit its limit. The team revealed that <strong>proper loot filters are being discussed internally</strong>, but right now there are no details or timelines yet.</p>



<p>However, this is a major step forward, as players have been asking for loot filters since the start of the game, and knowing that the devs are finally considering it seriously, is a very good point!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Unique Drops in Season 10</h2>

<p>Looking forward, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/how-to-farm-uniques-from-bosses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10 will make Uniques easier to get</a>. The devs confirmed the base drop chance is being increased across all activities, and the upcoming Chaos Armor system will add even more methods to chase Uniques. Blizzard also hinted at &#8220;future systems&#8221; that may expand these sources further. </p>



<p>For now, loot filters remain a hot topic, but the message is clear! Blizzard knows players want more control over their drops, and they are working on solutions!</p>


Diablo 4’s Loot Filter Question Finally Got an Answer


<p><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo IV Season 10,</a> <em>Infernal Chaos</em>, launches at the end of September, bringing Chaos Perks, Chaos Armor, and a new Infernal Horde system. But beyond this season&#8217;s content, players are looking further ahead already! A mysterious new IP collaboration, the delayed expansion now set for 2026, and what the next phase for the game is!</p>

<p>From the old Roadmap, we know that Season 10 will close out the &#8220;Age of Hatred&#8221; roadmap with several big features:</p>

<li><strong>Chaos Armor</strong> &#8211; new item type that turns Uniques into even more powerful items, opening more build possibilities.</li>



<li><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/infernal-hordes-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Infernal Horde Updates</strong> </a>&#8211; more fun and rewarding Hordes.</li>



<li><strong>The second IP collaboration</strong> &#8211; still a complete mystery.</li>

<p>The core gameplay changes are already generating excitement, but it is the unknown collab that has the community talking right now.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Next IP Collaboration: More Than Just Cosmetics?</h2>

<p>Earlier this year, Diablo IV&#8217;s first crossover brought <em>Berserk</em> into Sanctuary. The collab made sense theme-wise, but the execution left many players underwhelmed. Instead of a meaningful event, we got a basic reliquary with no quest or anything, and premium cosmetics that cost as much as €30 per item. </p>



<p>With the second collab that should drop before the end of 2025, expectations are high. Will Blizzard take it further this time with new bosses, mechanics, or story tie-ins? Or will it be another cosmetic drop? </p>



<p>For now, it is still a mystery, but one thing is certain! Players want this collab to feel rewarding and worth engaging with, not just another cash shop game.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why the Expansion Was Delayed to 2026</h2>



<p>Thanks to the roadmap, we also know that the next expansion is planned for a 2026 release. The reasoning is clear, especially after all the latest hype from content creators who got an early preview of future content. Blizzard wants, and needs, to polish, scope, and deliver something worthy of keeping players invested long-term. Blizzard appears to be buying time as they are laying the groundwork for larger systemic changes. </p>



<p>This delay also lines up with features that make the most sense alongside an expansion launch, such as:</p>



<ul>
<li>Leaderboards and ranking systems</li>



<li>Major narrative arcs</li>



<li>New zones and classes</li>
</ul>



<p>Season 10, the mystery collab, and then the long wait for the expansion could redefine the game. </p>



<p>Diablo IV still has plenty of cards left to play in 2025. But all eyes are really on the bigger picture! Blizzard needs to make the next IP collaboration feel like an event instead of a store page, and the 2026 expansion needs to deliver on the promises we have been waiting for!</p>

<p>A lot of players agree that the Season 10 meta will only be defined after Blizzard reveals the last-minute balance adjustments. Overpowered builds, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-10-chaos-armor-explained-full-unique-list" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Armor</a> interactions, and bugged powers have changed performance in previous seasons, so many are waiting before picking their starter class. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Druid Hype</h2>



<p>If there is one class getting all the hype right now, it is <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/druid/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Druid</a>. <li><strong><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/rogue/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rogue</a>:</strong> Rogue is the underwhelming class this season. <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Flurry" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_Skills_Rogue_19.webp" alt="Flurry"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-text">Flurry</span></span></a> still works, but it frustrates players. With all the powerful builds basically nerfed by now, no real changes to the Rogue class Specializations, many feel the class is once again left on the side of the road.</li>



<li><strong><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/barbarian/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Barbarian</a>:</strong> <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Double Swing" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_Skills_Barbarian_23.webp" alt="Double Swing"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-text">Double Swing</span></span></a> cleared past 100 in PTR, showing promise, but Barb is still widely seen as mid-tier. <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Whirlwind" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_Skills_Barbarian_39.webp" alt="Whirlwind"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-text">Whirlwind</span></span></a> and Thorns builds should be strong alternatives.</li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chaos Armor and the Wildcards</h2>



<p>Season 10 introduces new Chaos Armor items, and those act as overpowered variants of existing <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/how-to-farm-uniques-from-bosses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Uniques</a> across multiple slots. These drops could completely change the meta depending on availability and synergy, potentially making or breaking builds overnight. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Community Strategy</h2>



<p>Some players plan to wait until mid-season for the balance to settle, but others will try it out on day one with Druid or Sorcerer. There is also a growing interest in alts like Necromancer for spooky season, Spiritborn experiments, and unique non-meta builds for those who do not care about the meta race. </p>



<p>No one knows the true Season 10 meta until Blizzard reveals the final patch notes, but for now points go to Druid, Sorcerer, and Chaos Armor builds taking the lead. As always, the first week of the season will <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tier-lists" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">heavily influence what becomes S-tier</a>.</p>


Is Diablo 4’s Season 10 Meta Already Decided?


<p>Recently, the Communications Workers of America has announced that hundreds of <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo</a> Game Developers are unionizing in the wake of the mass layoffs around the gaming industry. As per a <a href="https://cwa-union.org/news/releases/hundreds-diablo-game-developers-join-communications-workers-america" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">press release</a>, over 450 game developers, artists, engineers, designers, and support staff across the Diablo franchise have formed a union and have been formally recognized by parent company, Microsoft.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Diablo Team Has Unionized</h2>



<p>&#8220;With every subsequent round of mass layoffs, I&#8217;ve witnessed the dread in my coworkers grow stronger because it feels like no amount of hard work is enough to protect us,&#8221; said Kelly Yeo, Team 3 Game Producer on Diablo and organizing committee member. “I am overjoyed that we have formed a union—this is just the first step for us joining a movement spreading across an industry that is tired of living in fear. We are ready to begin fighting for real change alongside our Diablo colleagues.”</p>



<p>“I grew up playing Diablo, and I feel lucky that I get to work at Blizzard on a game that’s very special to me and the gaming community,” said Skye Hoefling, Team 3 Senior Software Engineer II on Diablo and organizing committee member. “But passion can’t protect us from job instability. Our union allows us to focus on making magical experiences for our players instead of worrying about the unstable job industry.”</p>

<p>This has been a long time coming. Since earlier this year, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/other-games/news/xbox-cancels-major-games-shuts-down-studio-and-lays-off-thousands" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Microsoft has laid off approximately 9,000 employees</a> across multiple gaming divisions, including Activision Blizzard. Along with these layoffs, several companies have suffered, such as The Initiative, ZeniMax Online Studios, &amp; <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/other-games/news/romero-games-fps-canceled-after-publisher-backs-out" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Romero Games</a>. Additionally, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/other-games/news/xbox-cancels-contraband-after-four-years-of-development" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">several projects</a>, including <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/other-games/news/perfect-dark-and-everwild-canceled-as-xbox-faces-major-layoffs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Perfect Dark and Everwild, have been canceled</a> as a result of these past layoffs.</p>



<p>The Diablo team is following in the footsteps of their <a href="https://cwa-union.org/news/releases/world-warcraft-employees-gain-union-recognition-communications-workers-america" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">World of Warcraft colleagues who have unionized in the past</a>. This has resulted in over 3,500 workers at Microsoft organizing with CWA to date. Making this an overall wonderful and important win for developers, which will hopefully inspire other teams to form more unions, allowing developers to continue pursuing the ideal workplace environment they deserve.</p>


Hundreds of Diablo Game Developers Join CWA


<p><a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-10-chaos-armor-game-changer-or-grind" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10 introduced something players never expected</a>, and that is <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-10-chaos-armor-explained-full-unique-list" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chaos Armor</a>. Every unique item now has versions for all armor slots: helmet, chest, gloves, pants, and boots. On top of that, they always drop with at least one Greater Affix, making them some of the strongest gear in the game right now. </p>



<p>That means you can run combos nobody thought possible before, turning some of the most basic skills into really fun builds!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Community Loves It</h2>



<p>On the Season 10 PTR, Chaos Armor was a massive success. Players quickly discovered creative combinations and loved the freedom it brought to builds. Many even said it made <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> the most fun it has been since launch. </p>



<p>Naturally, this led to one big question! Will Chaos Armor stay after Season 10 ends?</p>



<p>A lot of Reddit Threads came up where players discussed the future of Chaos Armor, such as this one:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chaos Armor Goes, but Major Changes Are Coming</h2>



<p>Blizzard&#8217;s community director, <strong>PezRadar</strong>, actually replied in that Reddit, confirming that Chaos Armor is seasonal only. When your characters move to Eternal, the items will lose their &#8220;chaotic&#8221; powers and revert to <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/how-to-farm-uniques-from-bosses" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">standard uniques</a>, or simply disappear.</p>



<p>In short, do not expect your god-tier Chaos Armor to survive past the season.</p>



<p>However, in his answer, he also pointed out that <strong>&#8220;<em>fairly large system changes</em>&#8221; are coming with the Season 11 PTR!</strong></p>

<p>It is probably safe to say that those changes are part of the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/wudijo-hints-at-big-diablo-4-changes-after-private-preview" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">massive game overhaul that has been teased for a couple of months now by content creators</a>! Players have been speculating about this for a long time, but Blizzard has not given a timeline, until now. </p>



<p>What exactly it means is still a mystery, but if it is anything like Chaos Armor, Blizzard is definitely cooking!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Could Chaos Armor Come Back?</h2>



<p>Even though it is temporary, the excitement around Chaos Armor has not gone unnoticed. The community is already asking Blizzard to bring it back, either as a permanent feature or reworked into future itemization updates. </p>



<p>PezRadar teasing that major system changes are planned for Season 11 might just mean that Chaos Armor is a wild test run before the bigger redesign!</p>



<p>If you want to experience Diablo 4 at its most experimental and fun, Season 10 is the time. Chaos Armor will not carry over, but it is opening the door to some of the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tier-lists" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">most creative builds we have ever seen</a>, and it might just influence the future of the game.</p>


Season 11 Could Rewrite Diablo 4’s Entire Loot System


<p>With the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4 Season 10</a> PTR now closed, players are flooding forums and Reddit with their verdicts, and the reactions are anything but unanimous. Many enjoy the new chaos gear system and quality-of-life changes, but others argue that Blizzard still has not addressed core frustrations with boss fights and crafting.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chaos Gear Needs to Stay</h2>



<p>One of the most talked-about additions is the Chaos Armor. This system basically lets players mix and match different uniques in powerful new ways. A lot of players say this opens up more viable builds than any season since launch.</p>



<p>&#8220;<em>Chaos gear is the best thing to come to this game. It should be permanent</em>.&#8221; &#8211; one Reddit user wrote. </p>



<p>Even classes or skills that were previously considered weaker are finding new life. You can finally play <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/rogue/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rogue</a> <a class="icy-gtnbrg-link" href="#"><span class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip"><img decoding="async" data-tooltip-name="Heartseeker" class="icy-gtnbrg-tooltip-img" src="https://static.icy-veins.com/wp/static/d4/latest/images/icons/2DUI_Skills_Rogue_35.webp" alt="Heartseeker"><span class="tooltip-spell-name d4-text">Heartseeker</span></span></a> builds without imbuements, or <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/barbarian/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Barbarians without having to run three shouts</a>, and many more original builds!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Boss Design Is Not Good</h2>



<p>Another major change is the overhaul to boss farming. You can now kill bosses such as <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/uber-duriel-boss-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Duriel</a>, <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/uber-andariel-boss-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Andariel</a>, and the<a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/the-beast-in-the-ice-boss-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Beast in Ice</a> much faster, since their forced immunity phases were removed. A lot of players welcomed the change, but others warned that one-shotting bosses risks making encounters feel hollow. According to players, the base problem is the generally bad boss design. </p>



<p>&#8220;<em>I was one of the people who wanted bosses to be a more core feature. Then Season 9 happened, and I realized Blizzard cannot design a boss fight that&#8217;s both engaging and fair&#8230; so I&#8217;ll happily play again if I can just one shot them</em>.&#8221; </p>



<p>The problem with the current bosses is that they either rely on forced immunities, and that makes powerful builds feel useless, or they are too easily one-shot. Players are asking for meaningful bosses with engaging mechanics and proper rewards. To fix this, the entire boss design needs a revamp. This means less immunity walls or inflated HP, and more creative, fun mechanics that make each fight feel rewarding and exciting.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Infernal Hordes &amp; New Perks &#8211; Mixed Reactions</h2>



<p>The reworked <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/infernal-hordes-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Infernal Hordes activity</a> has received mixed reactions. A lot of players liked the improved chaos waves and Bartuc&#8217;s boss fight, but some found the static arenas repetitive compared to Nightmare Dungeons. </p>



<p>Class-specific perks also landed unevenly. <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/sorcerer/builds" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sorcerers</a> seemed to get standout improvements, but Rogues were left underwhelmed.</p>



<p>&#8220;<em>Rogue rides a line of being either OP or a wet noodle. Right now it&#8217;s stuck in wet noodle mode</em>.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Masterworking &amp; Tempering Still a Pain Point</h2>



<p>If there is one thing the community agrees on, it is that <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tempering-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tempering</a> and <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/masterworking-guide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Masterworking</a> still sucks. </p>



<p>Players continue to hate the RNG-heavy crafting system, saying it ruins the excitement of finding a good drop. Many want checkpoints or gear locks to avoid bricking items, and others pointed out that tempering feels even worse when it fails.</p>



<p>&#8220;<em>The excitement of getting a new drop quickly dissipates when I realize I might brick it. Legendary rings are a nightmare</em>.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is Season 10 Worth It?</h2>



<p>Despite frustrations, the general consensus leans more positive than past PTRs. The fact that you can create a ton of new exciting builds and the Infernal Hordes changes, <strong>make Season 10 really fun</strong>. </p>



<p>Still, key systems like endgame difficulty scaling, crafting, and boss design remain divisive.  </p>



<p>Season 10 launches soon, and with it, Blizzard faces the challenge of proving if chaos gear and Infernal Hordes are enough to keep players engaged, or if deeper changes are still needed.</p>


Why Diablo 4 Season 10 Could Save the Game, or Break It Forever


<p>Mother&#8217;s blessing surprisingly graces Sanctuary once again, offering increased experience gains and gold. This event runs from now till September 9th. Now is the perfect time to push through Sins of the Horadrim before Diablo 4 <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/diablo-4-latest-season" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Season 10</a> begins on September 23rd.</p>

<p>However, is <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> releasing too many events too quickly? The community is beginning to feel burned out, as Season 9 was full of numerous events. This is the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/march-of-the-goblins-returns-and-overlaps-with-mothers-blessing" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">second Mother&#8217;s Blessing Event</a> in the last three weeks, along with a <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/what-if-diablo-4s-march-of-the-goblins-was-a-permanent-event" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">March of the Goblins</a> event between the two.</p>



<p>While these events are beneficial for players who need to catch up or complete their Battle Pass, the community is beginning to feel a bit of burnout, as a new event seemingly comes along every few weeks.</p>
