Season 10 of Diablo 4 is just around the corner, and as always, players are already asking the big question, “what is the new S-tier build?”
Normally the safe answer would be Blood Wave Necromancer, or Quill Volley Spiritborn for example, but thanks to Chaos Armor, things might look very different this time.
On Reddit, players are pointing out that the new Chaos system is not just a power up mechanic. It is a chance to explore the “forgotten” parts of each class’s skill tree. Instead of tier list tunnel vision, Season 10 is maybe going to be the first time off-meta builds can actually compete.
You can take a look at the Reddit post here:
A New Era of Build Freedom
One top comment summed it up:
“In Season 10 you’ll be able to complete the season journey with relative ease on any build in B tier or higher.”
In other words, Chaos Armor raises the floor so much that you do not need to chase the top pit-pushing builds anymore. A and B-tier builds will crush Chaos Rifts and the Infernal Hordes easily. And new builds might even jump straight to top-tier pit pushing builds as well!
Chaos Armor allows you to really have fun, test new combos, and play around with forgotten abilities!
Which Classes Benefit Most?
- Druid is the clear winner in early theorycrafts. Shred Druid’s insane mobility,
Pulverize‘s puddle nukes, Companions, and even
Ravens setups are all being hyped as viable picks.
- Sorcerer players are excited about
Hydra,
Lightning Spear, and
Ball Lightning for speed farming Infernal Hordes.
- Necromancers can expect some new
Bone Storm or
Shadowblight Necromancers taking the spotlight.
- Spiritborn may finally step out of
Quill Volley‘s shadow, with
Crushing Hand,
Payback, and
The Protector-heavy “Kong smash” builds gaining traction.
- Rogues could see
Death Trap and
Poison Imbuement
Puncture variants return. Although, Rogue does seem to be the only class that really lacks behind this season.
- Barbarians even have some mysterious new “unkillable” tank setups, or
Leap/
Charge/
Kick meme builds that might stop being memes.
Instead of recycling the same Necromancer or Spiritborn builds again, Season 10 is your chance to try something new without falling behind. Chaos Armor does not just power-up numbers, it opens up whole skill trees that players usually ignore.
You can go as a Hydra Sorcerer melting hordes, a Shred Druid zooming across maps, or a Spiritborn finally smashing heads with non-Quill Volley skills. One thing is sure, this season rewards creativity as much as power.
So if you have been waiting to dust off that “fun but not meta” idea, Season 10 might finally be its time to shine!
