The Final Fantasy 14: Evercold Collector’s Bundle was finally revealed during the Berlin Fan Festival Keynote, and we now know what the premium edition includes.
The bundle combines a physical Collector’s Box with a digital Collector’s Edition of Evercold, packing together exclusive merchandise with a few in-game rewards. You will, of course, be able to buy the two separately. If you are not interested in the physical items, you can buy the digital Collector’s Edition only and enjoy your digital exclusive items!
Pre-orders are not open for now, so you still have time to think about which one you want!
A Reaper Statue for the Physical Collection
The most important piece of the Collector’s Bundle is a detailed Warrior of Light Reaper statue! You can see your iconic hero wielding the Reaper job in a very cool way.
On top of the statue, the physical collection also includes:
- A premium Collector’s Box featuring artwork by legendary Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano
- A tapestry showcasing the landscape of the Fourth
- An Ethos metal keychain
- A Köttr plush
As with previous Final Fantasy 14 collector’s editions, the physical items are for those looking to add a few pieces they can display in their collection outside of the game itself. But as mentioned already, you can buy the digital version separately.
Exclusive In-Game Rewards
The following items are also available if you buy the Physical Collector. But basically, the digital portion of the bundle can be obtained on its own, and it includes a few exclusive bonuses you can use in-game.
- Crystal Skyltborg Bastion Weapon Glam
- Valhallar Odin mount
- Entreat Crystal emote
The best part of this is the Mount! For those who did not recognize it, this is Final Fantasy 13 Lightning’s Valhallar Odin!
Overall, nothing unusual for a Final Fantasy 14 expansion collector. However, the fact that the exclusive mount is from Final Fantasy 13, has led some fans to believe that Square Enix is planning something with the FF13 trilogy. Maybe a proper port to current-gen consoles, a remaster, or remake? Only the future will tell!
