Best Farming Routes for Escoffier and Ifa Materials!

Jaym0's Avatar by Jaym0

Collecting materials in Genshin Impact can sometimes be tricky, especially for the newest characters. The in-game search system doesn’t always indicate every single spot, making it harder to track down what you need.

If you’ve pulled Escoffier or Ifa and are struggling to gather their materials, you’re in the right place! We’ve not only listed the locations, you’ll also find the best farming routes mapped out for maximum efficiency!

Note that we only registered here the collectable materials, not the bosses or enemy mats!

Escoffier’s Best Farming Route

Escoffier is a Fontaine character, which means all of her materials are found exclusively in Fontaine. To fully level her up, you’ll need 168 Beryl Conch. These materials are hidden underwater, so get ready to dive in and explore!

We’ve mapped out the perfect underwater route to collect 105 Beryl Conch in one run. Follow the path on the map image for the most efficient routes!

If you did not complete all the Fontaine World Quests, you may not have access to some underwater caves and secret paths!

After collecting all the 105 Beryl Conch, you have two options:

  • Wait for Respawns: Beryl Conch takes about 48 hours to respawn.
  • World Hopping: Jump into another player’s world and ask if they’re okay with you collecting the Conch there. Most of the community is pretty welcoming, especially if you ask nicely!

Ifa’s Best Farming Route

Ifa is tied to Natlan, so all of his materials are found there. To level him up, you’ll need 168 Saurian Claw Succulents. Unlike Escoffier’s materials, only 90 Saurian Claw Succulents are available per farming cycle.

We’ve created a farming route that covers both Tequemecan Valley and Ochkanatlan with the least amount of travel time. Just follow the path marked on the map image to make sure you don’t miss any clusters! Be particularly thorough in the Valley, there is a small path that goes slightly under the mountain. Some Succulents are also located either on top of cliffs or down on the ground. We recommend you start on top, and once you’ve cleared that out, check on the ground at the foot of the cliffs.

Tequemecan Valley

Ochkanatlan

For Ochkanatlan you have to start the World Quest to access the zone, but you do not have to complete it in order to access the small location on the top right. Once you reach the teleport on the map, you will see a few baby Saurians surrounded by enemies. Help them out to open the path to a cave where the rest of the Succulents are.

For the two located on the left, head on top, and fly down. There is a small puzzle to complete to reach the two flowers underground.

After completing your route, you can again either wait for respawns or ask to collect in other players’ worlds.

Farming Tips for Maximum Efficiency

  • Map Pinning: Use the in-game map to mark the spots where you find these materials. This makes your next run much faster.
  • Get the stuff who is on top first, and head underground after. Underground locations often rely on World Quests to get access, so if you can’t find an entrance, make sure you completed all the quests in the zone.
  • Use characters that have fast exploration mechanics, or Local Speciality Trackers:
