The Genshin Impact 5.7 beta continues to deliver more information and the latest one is a slight surprise for banner speculation and leaks. According to newly surfaced information from reputable leaker HomDGCat, players can expect a highly stacked lineup in 5.7: Skirk and Dahlia are now all but confirmed, but they’ll supposedly be joined by Emilie, Mavuika and Shenhe.
Of course, as with all things leaks, everything should be taken with a grain of salt as anything could change easily.
While Skirk and Dahlia have been known for some time thanks to the ongoing beta details, the remaining three banner characters come as a pleasant surprise. Emilie, the long-awaited Dendro unit with burning synergies, is finally returning after a noteable wait. Mavuika, the 5-star Pyro archon from natlan, looks set to return 4 patches after her release.
Shenhe, on the other hand is both expected and surprising at the same time. She had previously joined the ranks of characters available through the Chronicled Wish banner system which was mainly for more older characters leaving players to not expect her to return on a main banner. Shenhe was even the reason the rules around the Chronicled Wish system changed in the first place because Hoyo never wanted to just give Shenhe a second rerun.
That being said, HoYoverse never explicitly stated that Chronicled characters were removed and because of Skirk being a Cryo unit that heavily benefits from Shenhe, it makes a lot of sense. Shenhe is a great support for both Skirk and many Escoffier-based team compositions so her return is welcomed.
