Genshin Impact Version 5.7 is launching this week, and HoYoverse has shared exciting new features and events coming with it. From limited-time quests to permanent endgame content, here’s everything you don’t want to miss!
Free Gift: Dust of Enlightenment
After updating to Version 5.7, players Adventure Rank 5 and above can claim 2x Dust of Enlightenment from their in-game mailbox. You just need to log in during Version 5.7 to receive it.
Dust of Enlightenment is a special item from the new Stygian Onslaught endgame activity. You can use it to reroll substats on fully-levelled artifacts, which is a huge help for perfecting your builds!
It means that you can save a good Artifact that may have been ruined by bad sub-stat rolls.
You can also get 2 Dust of Enlightenment if you bought the Battle Pass.
New Endgame Content: Stygian Onslaught
This is a new permanent endgame challenge with multiple difficulty levels. Clear harder stages and spend Resin to claim rewards from different Domains of Blessing.
- Earn Dust of Enlightenment by completing Menacing or Fearless difficulty and reaching 1200 Dire Prestige points.
- You can earn up to 3 Dusts per version.
- Stygian Onslaught unlocks on Week 2, Wednesday, after each version begins.
- Available for players AR45+.

Take part in various mini-games like:
- Fruit Supplement Survey

Collect Speculative Records to:

Event: Traveler’s Tales – Gilded Chapter
Complete a set number of anecdotes each day to earn:
- Primogems
- Hero’s Wit
- Other helpful rewards
It’s important to note that you can only do a limited number of anecdotes per day. If no more companions appear on your map, try again the next day!
Skirk’s Story Quest: Crystallina Chapter
Unlock Skirk’s limited-time story quest during 5.7 by meeting the requirements. Complete it to earn:
- Primogems
- Character materials
- Natlan specialties
- Other useful rewards
Trounce Domain First Clear Bonus
After the 5.7 update, if you clear the highest difficulty of a Trounce Domain (solo or co-op) for the first-time, you will get an additional first clear reward.
Don’t worry in case you already cleared it before! You’ll still get the reward, and you don’t even have to go through the challenge, you can automatically claim it after the update!
