The latest update for Honkai: Star Rail is approaching and Version 4.1 is shaping up to be another exciting chapter for the game. From new characters and banners to fresh events, gameplay additions, and story developments, this update brings plenty for all to look forward to. In this breakdown, we’ll go over the biggest highlights revealed so far for Version 4.1 from information released by HoYoverse.
What New Character Can We Expect in 4.1?
As we know already we can expect to see Ashveil a new playable 5-star Lightning character who follows the Path of The Hunt. Ashveil was introduced during the Planarcadia main story as a detective who works with a Monkey as his assisstant. He will be played as a Main DPS providing his allies with increased CRIT DMG additionally using frequent follow-up ATK’s on his target enemies while reducing their overall DEF.

What New Light Cones Are Coming in 4.1?
As you have probably already guessed one of the new Light Cones will be Ashveils 5-star Signature Weapon “The Finale of a Lie” following the Path The Hunt.
Skill – “Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%. At the start of battle or for every 4 instance(s) of Follow-Up ATK the wearer uses, the wearer gains “Umbra Devourer,” lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has “Umbra Devourer,” increases ATK by 40% and increases the DMG taken by all enemies by 20%. Effects of the same kind cannot stack.“
Another new 5-star Light Cone coming to 4.1 is “Elation Brimming With Blessings” following the Path of Elation. This Light Cone can be purchased from Herta’s Store by exchanging Herta Bonds.
Skill – “Increases the wearer’s ATK by 20%. After the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, increases the target’s Elation stat by 12% for 2 turn(s).”

Gift of Odyssey is back again to bring you free Special Passes through the daily login rewards over a period of 7 days.
A new mini-game event will be introduced called “Wispae War Saga” where wispae are used during a combat mode to earn various rewards such as Stellar Jades.
Returning during the Version Update is the Planar Fissure event as well as the Garden of Plenty for double drops and extra rewards.

During the Phase 1 event warp we will see the following characters:

“Unraveled for Daybreak” is the title of the Trailblaze Continuation Mission.
New additions Coming in 4.1
In version 4.1 we will see 2 new map areas become available in Planarcadia. These 2 new areas are Pearluxe Tower and Lookout Cloud Station.
Another exciting new addition to Planarcadia will be the introduction of a Powerful new Enemy “Alloy Mechatron: King Pom Pom“.
New Planar Ornaments will become available after the release of Version 4.1 which include “Punklorde Stage Zero” and “City of Converging Stars“
Punklorde Stage Zero (Punklorde’s Rainbow City & Punklorde’s Data Deluge (Link Rope)) – “2-Pc: Increases the wearer’s Elation by 8%. When Elation reaches 40%/80% for the first time in battle, increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20%/32%.”
City of Converging Stars – (Astropolis Media Headquaters & Astropolis Employee Credentials (Link Rope)) – “2-Pc: When the wearer uses a Follow-Up ATK, increases their ATK by 24% for 2 turn(s). When an enemy target is defeated, increases CRIT DMG for all allies by 12% for the rest of the current battle. This effect cannot stack.“
