It’s not easy to decide whether to pull for a character in NTE with so many great characters on the way. That problem is even more apparent when the character is a support like Iroi.
Iroi is an S-Rarity Anima character with the Survival role in NTE. Despite being classified as a Survival character, Iroi does much more than just keep her team alive. She can heal, revive, buff, and even provide slight crowd control.
Is Iroi Good?
Iroi is one of the strongest support units in NTE, because her kit isn’t restricted to a specific element or unit type. As a result, she fits into almost any team. That makes her flexible enough to slot into virtually any team comp, rather than being a niche pick.
However, as a result of that flexibility, you may have to make some sacrifices as well. Here’s an overview on Iroi’s kit, including the good and the bad:
Team – Good
Iroi has a good passive that allows her to create Vita Buds and enhance them to shoot more often. That makes her a great fit for many Blossom and Charge teams that rely on this type of Vita Bud. Iroi’s strongest pairing is Shinku, as she can create Vita Buds that quickly refill the team’s energy. That’s especially useful for Shinku, who needs her Ultimate to access her Burst damage.
Rotation – Problematic
Iroi’s Esper Cycle takes longer to complete than most characters, which can slightly delay team rotation. It can be a problem when the clock is ticking. It’s better to work around that issue instead of using her to trigger the reactions.
Healing – Good
Iroi has great access to healing through most of her skills, giving her team enough sustain to withstand any enemy or boss fight.
Reviving – Good
Iroi can also revive her teammates, which is a rare utility in NTE. If there’s ever a difficult event where teammates can fall, Iroi will be a perfect fit. Right now, though, it’s not very important since there aren’t many challenging encounters.
Buffs – Good
Her Redirect Skill gives a 20% ATK buff and shreds enemy DEF. Her signature weapon adds another 15% DMG, while her Cartridge set provides an additional 15% ATK.
Crowd Control – Good
The same Redirect Skill groups enemies together, which is valuable for any AoE damage dealer on her team.
