With Blizzard recently shutting down private servers, the burning question now on everyone’s mind is: what’s next for Classic WoW? According to the latest rumors, content creators are now allegedly “being invited to the Blizzard HQ for a creator summit” to play through what appears to be the next Classic chapter.
Titan Reforged in China Has Set the Bar High
The release of Titan Reforged servers in China has left many players wondering why all the cool stuff is reserved for that region, with many requesting a similar experience elsewhere, mainly in the US and EU.
If you don’t know what Titan Reforged is, Blizzard merged three expansions (Vanilla, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King) into a new level-80 endgame experience, with all raids rescaled to 25-M and account-wide progression. Honestly, I can’t think of anything cooler than Titan Reforged, and frankly I don’t care much about Classic+. Titan Reforged just makes perfect sense — it’s already there, so why does Blizzard keep locking it away from the rest of the world? It would be simple to launch these servers in other regions and pack them with custom content, but that’s a story for another day.
Is Classic+ Next?
What exactly do we expect from Blizzard’s Classic announcement at this year’s BlizzCon in September? According to an unconfirmed 4chan leak from October 26, 2025, we may see an Infinite Classic+ experience that requires a season pass, on top of the monthly subscription to access the latest content with content old over a year being part of the standard subscription fee. One of the notable highlights in the leak is a new Spellblade class, described as a “mail-wearer, available to Blood Elves, Night Elves,Humans, and Undead, with three specs: Tank (Abjuration), Healer (Blood), and DPS (Spellbreaking).
The leak also mentions Classic ending with the MoP expansion, Anniversary TBC going onto a Wrath-era server, Hardcore TBC rolling into Wrath of the Lich King and a fast Season of Discovery reboot.
