During today’s Warcraft Forever Deepdive, Blizzard announced that their new game mode won’t feature traditional Server Realms. Instead, players will be able to choose between one of three (with Hardcore, four) rulesets.
All Warcraft Forever Rulesets

A total of four “Gameplay Styles” will be available in Warcraft Forever:
- Normal: This ruleset allows you to focus on adventuring and fighting monsters while allowing you to fight other players at your own discretion.
- PvP: This ruleset allows you to focus on player versus player combat: you are almost always at risk of being attacked by opposing players.
- Roleplay: This ruleset has strict naming conventions and behavior rules for players interested in immersing themselves as a character in a fantasy-based world.
- Hardcore (arriving later): This challenging ruleset features permanent player character death. Dead characters may transfer to other rulesets to be resurrected.
Collections Legacy Points Move From Right to Left

One important note during the panel was that Legacy Points and Collections are being shared between the first three rulesets. For Hardcore, Legacy Points and Collections move to the ruleset of your choice after death.
