Players are blasting the World of Warcraft: Forever Beta, and some lucky Druids have found a way to embrace their inner Viper and take on a new form.
By running the Wailing Caverns dungeon in WoW: Forever, players are able to gather pieces of the re-itemized Embrace of the Viper set. While the bonuses for this set have been changed in Forever, one lucky Druid discovered that equipping the full set unlocks an additional, secret bonus – a new Serpent Form!
While some social media users assumed this was a hoax, WoW Classic Associate Production Director Clayton Stone seemingly confirmed that this is an intended transformation. WoW Classic Senior Game Designer, Zirene, appears to be the mastermind behind this new set bonus, and even revealed that each Druid race will have a different colored Snake visage. This Serpent form also comes with a unique stealth animation, allowing players to slither across the ground!

While the Beta is currently capped at Level 20, players have already found tons of new gear and interesting items. It appears that Blizzard really put their heart and soul into WoW: Forever, and we’re excited to see what other discoveries the community makes in the coming weeks and months.
