Blizzard has just released a new video discussing the new dungeons coming with the launch of WoW Forever. These dungeons will allow players to earn significant experience and gear rewards on their leveling journey.

While there will be a total of nine new dungeons at launch, Blizzard highlights three of these in their latest video.

Hall of Thanes

The Hall of Thanes will be the first dungeon that Alliance players can enter, sitting directly beneath the Throne Room of Ironforge. Like Ragefire Chasm, this entry-level dungeon is designed to teach group play to new and returning players.

The Dark Iron Dwarves have infiltrated the resting place of the former kings of Ironforge. It’s up to players to stop the Dark Irons and put the awakened spirits back to rest.

Ruins of Lordaeron

This dungeon explores the topside of the Undercity and showcases the game’s new lightning system. Visibility may be limited in some areas, nudging players to pull their enemies into the light for a better perspective.

Players will be tasked with eliminating the Scourge, freeing innocent spirits, and taking out the menacing Necromancer responsible for some of these atrocities.

Excavation Site: Wetlands

Finally, around level 30, players will be able to take on the new Excavation Site: Wetlands dungeon. This dungeon relies heavily on its environment. Beware the tall grass, as hidden enemies can strike unexpectedly at a moment’s notice.

Here, a dwarven expedition came in to dig, and things didn’t go according to plan. Players are sent in to learn the whereabouts of this missing expedition.

In addition to the 9 new launch dungeons, the experience rewards, boss loot, and quest rewards for previous dungeons have all been reworked in WoW Forever.
