Hall of Thanes Boss Strategy
Hall of Thanes has four bosses.
| Faldrim Anvilmar
Faldrim is the first boss of Hall of Thanes, patrolling around the Anvilmar's Rest area. The room has a couple of Enraged Apparition mobs, so it is safest to clear a couple of them for a clean area before pulling Faldrim. Faldrim has only two abilities: One of them is a Mind Blast that can be interrupted. The second ability, |

| Magmatus
Magmatus pulls together with a Dark Iron Summoner. The group should focus on taking down the Summoner as the tank positions Magmatus away from the party, so as not to take extra damage from his Fire Nova AOE attack. Healers need to be aware of Magnmatus's Combustion cast on a random player, as they will take Fire damage for a few seconds. |
|
| Plunder
Plunder patrols the room before the last boss and only has one ability of note: A knockback. The tank has to position him in a way where his knockbacks won't accidentally pull extra mobs. An easy way of doing this is bringing Plunder to the previous room of the instance. |
|
| Durgen Dirgehammer
Durgen is the final boss of Hall of Thanes, and is accompanied by two Lesser Stone Golems. His room has a bunch of Dark Iron mobs, so make sure to clean the outskirts before pulling Durgen proper. You will tank to take the golems out before damaging Durgen, as the boss has an AOE Fear and a Rend debuff that might overwhelm the tank. |
