The WoW: Forever Beta starts tomorrow! Here’s everything you need to know.
When Does the Beta Start?
The WoW: Forever Beta starts tomorrow, 17th September 2026.
Who Can Play the Beta?
Players who purchase the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection will have guaranteed access to the Beta. Alternatively, you can use Blizzard’s Beta Opt-in service for free, however this route does not guarantee Beta access as participants are picked at random.
If you’re lucky enough to be Australian, you can also get Beta access through the McDonald’s promotion. More details on that here!
To Buy Beta or Not to Buy?
If you’re unsure as to whether to buy the Epic Pack for Beta access or not, here are a few facts to aid in your decision:
- Nothing from Beta will be carried over to the live game on launch—4th November is a clean slate!
- There will be no advantages or rewards carried over from playing Beta
- The Beta is mainly for testing/bug reporting on the game in its current state, so Blizzard can hopefully fix these bugs in time for release!
