For any Player Housing enthusiasts, BlizzCon 2026 will have felt like a fever dream! We are getting SO many quality of life upgrades, new features, and exciting new ways to show off our creations! Here’s a breakdown of everything revealed to be coming in Patch 12.2.
Housing Showcase
No more waiting for the Housewarming weekly quest to be able to show off your houses—the Housing Showcase will let players browse and submit houses for viewing straight from the Housing dashboard! Players will be able to visit featured builds, or share their creations via Visitor Codes.
When making a submission, a snapshot of your home will be taken, meaning you can still continue decorating without altering your submission. Participating in selected Showcase events will also offer exclusive decor rewards!
Mannequins
Mannequins are finally coming to Housing—and they’re poseable! We will finally have a way to show off our hard earned transmog collections, or add a little more story to our creations.
Housing UI Updates
This is where things get real comfortable. Ever wanted to move a whole section of a build, but moving every individual item feels like too much effort? No fear, multi-select is here (well, in Patch 12.2). Multi-select will allow you to click and drag to select multiple decor items at once, allowing you to move and rotate them to wherever you’d like.
Copy-paste is also on the way, letting players replicate decor items with exactly the same size, rotation, and dye properties. Players will have to have the correct items in their storage though.
Perhaps the biggest quality of life upgrade coming in 12.2—decor home delivery! So long as you’ve obtained one copy of a decor item from a vendor before, you’ll be able to purchase more straight from your Housing dashboard. No more breaking your flow to make a quick trip half way across Azeroth!
Four New Endeavors
Patch 12.2 is adding another four new Neighborhood Endeavors to Player Housing! So far, the only one we know is coming is the Stormriders of the Isle of Dorn.
Don’t Forget to Claim Your BlizzCon Doormat!
In case you’ve not already claimed your free BlizzCon decor, logging in between 12th-27th September will reward you with the BlizzCon 2026 achievement, and a beautiful blue doormat to commemorate the weekend.
