Patch 12.1’s pre-season week is coming to an end, and after this week’s reset, Midnight Season 2 finally begins. Here’s everything unlocking this week, along with some insane rewards you’ll want to keep track of!
The Venomous Abyss Raid Opens
Season 2’s new raid, The Venomous Abyss, finally opens on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty, with the first wing available on Raid Finder difficulty.
Alongside gear upgrades, the Venomous Abyss also features two new mounts: the 
Primeval Skyfriend (Mythic Ula’tek mount) and 
Crimson Venomfang (from 
Glory of the Venomous Raider).
Mythic+ Season 2 Begins
Mythic+ will return for Midnight Season 2, with Mythic 0 dungeons returning to a daily reset (dropping ilvl 292 gear). From Tuesday (NA)/Wednesday (EU) this week, start earning your way towards this season’s Keysone Master/Legend mounts, 
Breath of Blight and 
Breath of Ruin.
Altar of Fangs, 12.1’s new dungeon, also drops a mount from Mythic Zul’jan: 
The Writhing Brood.

PvP Season 2 Starts
Midnight PvP Season 2 starts this week. You’ll be able to start increasing your rating to earn Elite transmog appearances, seasonal titles and achievements, and Season 2’s new PvP mounts.
The 
Vicious Lightbloom Boar (Horde)/
Vicious Lightbloom Boar (Alliance) are the seasonal reward mounts, while the 
Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake is this season’s Gladiator mount.
