How to Obtain All Collectibles From the Naigtal Showdown Zone

Naigtal is one of the new Showdown areas in Patch 12.0.7, and the zone available for exploration this week. There are cosmetics you can obtain from achievements and exploration. Learn how to get them before Naigtal is rotated out next week!

Naigtal Achievement Rewards

There are two meta achievements that require doing things in Naigtal. Here’s what you can do this week and the rewards you can earn.

Heroic Showdowns

This achievement requires completing activities for both Val and Naigtal in Heroic World Tier. It is not completable this week, but you can get it started!

This achievement unlocks the Tortured Gorger mount for purchase.

Heroic: Worlds Ahead	No. World Quests in Showdown Zones respawn every 20 minutes and last for 1 hour. You can obtain criteria for the following Naigtal World Quests this week: – Mush-Vroom! – Mashing Mushroom Mana Machines – Scrubbing Troubles – Power Overload – Sporadic Power Drain – Marsh Mana Spores – Skiff Joyride – Forest Mana Spores – Crypt Culling – Weaken Their Forces – Flying Debris
Heroic: Power Creep	Yes! Search around Naigtal for mobs with buffs and kill them. Rares have guaranteed buffs.
Heroic: Pain of Command	No. You can get credit for Nexus-Captain Leth’ir in Heroic World Rier.
Heroic Climate Strange: Val	No. Val is not available this week, so none of the Val-only achievements can be obtained.
Heroic Climate Strange: Naigtal	Yes! Complete the Bonus Objective “Subdue the Spore Storm” 5 times in Heroic World Tier for the achievement. Bonus Objectives respawn roughly every 2 hours.
Heroic Slugger	No. Rares respawn every 20 minutes with a zone announcement accompanying them. Rares are also much easier to reach since a hotfix gave players grace time before engaging. You can obtain criteria for the following Naigtal rares this week: – Interminable Uarn – Broxion – Swalewing Matriarch – Lomelith – Auredar – Warp Agent Xi-grivr – Indomitable MK XII – Slaipaan – Warbringer Thal’kuur

A Trip Through the Stars

This achievement requires completing activities in Naigtal. This achievement can be completed in either Normal or Heroic World Tier. It is not completable this week, but you can get it started!

This achievement unlocks the Netherforged Nullframe mount for purchase.

Into the Stars	No. The achievement requires the intro quests for both zones. You can earn credit for “A Swampy Welcome to Naigtal” this week.
Prepared for a Showdown	No. Some of those quests are in Val, some of them are timegated. You can complete “Bouncy Mushrooms”, “Aerospores” and “The Grappler” this week.
A Hal’hadar Walks into a Swamp	No. The zone quests for Naigtal are timegated, with new quests every week. You can earn credit for the “Manaforge Reconnaisance” storyline this week, by completing all quests in the base camp.
Climate Strange: Naigtal	Yes! Complete the Bonus Objective “Subdue the Spore Storm” 5 times for the achievement. Bonus Objectives respawn roughly every 2 hours.
Showdown Slugger: Naigtal	Yes! Rares respawn every 20 minutes with a zone announcement accompanying them. Rares are also much easier to reach since a hotfix gave players grace time before engaging. Not all Naigtal rares are required for the achievement.

Naigtal Collectibles

There are not a lot of collectibles you can get in Naigtal – One Battle Pet and a few Cosmetic transmogs.

Here’s a useful map for the items below.

Sleepy Mandrake Battle Pet

The Sleepy Mandrake battle pet can be found fast asleep inside Sleeper’s Grotto, a cave on the ground level just Southwest of Manaforge: Arcvein. The mandrake will be fast asleep when first interacted.

You can wake the little guy up by bringing him five redcap mushrooms, looted from several sources in Naigtal:

You’re supposed to reach it by using the bouncy mushrooms/aerospores in the area, but there are not enough of them to reach the pet. Right now, the best way to get to that mushroom is to get on top of the second-tallest mushroom near Sporeforge (Boost Location coordinate), use an item to launch yourself up in the air like Darkmoon Cannon, Falling Flame, or Element-Infused Rocket Helmet, then float down to the tallest mushroom using a Goblin Glider Kit.
Dusty Redcap	/way #2600 27.91 49.96 Vilaldoun Crypt	Inside the Vilaldoun Crypt, on the Western portion of Naigtal. On the back of the left-most, deepest level of the crypt.
Highland Redcap	/way #2600 33.40 59.70 Start of Path /way #2600 28.90 61.76 Highland Redcap	By a cliff overlooking the Holding Pens area. A small path to the redcap can be found on the back of the Holding Pens area.
Marshy Redcap	/way #2600 75.64 38.14 Marshy Redcap	In the back of the Marshwalk Refuge cave, located in the water just East of Manaforge: Arcvein.
Partially-Digested Redcap	—	Has a chance to drop from Fungal mobs in Naigtal. Higher chance from Fungal rares such as Interminable Uarn and Swalewing Matriarch.

Pointy Half-Shell Cosmetic

If you ever liked Bowser, this is your lucky day! The Pointy Half-Shell can be found hidden under a carcass just to the left of the Vennorax Wreckage area.

Soltian Wrangler’s Grip Fist Weapon Cosmetic

The Soltian Wrangler’s Grip fist weapon can be looted from the top of big mushrooms scattered across Naigtal. It is looted from Squirming Mollusks, which can be found atop a lot of them. To reach the top of these mushrooms, you will need to get creative with zone resources – Bouncy Mushrooms, Aerospores, and the Grappler.

The Fist Weapon itself is a yellow recolor of the fungal fist weapons first seen in The Burning Crusade.

Ancient Crypt Reliquary Weapon Cosmetics

Players who explored Naigtal have learned that it used to be a Draenei settlement, with a crypt area, Vilaldoun. Inside these ruins in the Western portion of Naigtal, players can find Ancient Crypt Reliquary chests, which reward Draenei-themed weapon cosmetics.

These chests do not show up on your minimap, so keep your eyes peeled!
