We just got some huge news for World of Warcraft: Midnight out of a post-Race to World First interview that Maximum from Liquid hosted on his stream today, featuring Lead Encounter Designer Taylor Sanders and Senior Game Designer Anthony Trejo.
During the interview, Taylor revealed that the upcoming single-boss raid Sporefall, which is part of patch 12.0.7 and set in Harandar, will feature Mythic Flex difficulty! Yes, you read that right. Mythic will support groups of 15 to 25 players instead of the fixed 20-player requirement we have right now.
Blizzard stated the goal is to give guilds that have cleared Heroic or earned Ahead of the Curve a more accessible path into Mythic without needing a perfect 20-man roster. This will make it much easier for groups who are looking to eventually transition into Mythic raiding.

This is very exciting, especially since players have been asking for flexible Mythic groups for years. Although this is not the full 10-man solution that many wanted, it is still a meaningful step toward making Mythic more accessible for a wider range of guilds.
