Ritual Sites are the new world event feature added in Patch 12.0.5. These will receive a few updates in Patch 12.0.7 with a couple extra rewards and challenges. Let’s take a look at what’s coming!
Ritual Sites Now Go Up to Tier 6, Offering Myth Crests
Patch 12.0.7 offers another tier of difficulty for Ritual Sites. Tier 6 has a recommended item level of 274 (compared to Tier 5’s ilvl264 recommendation) and requires at least 6 challenges to be active.

Besides the other reward increases from going into a higher-tier Ritual Site, what’s interesting here is that Tier 6 Ritual Sites drop
Myth Dawncrest! Each Tier 6 run gives 5 Myth Dawncrests. Unlike the Gilded Chest from Delves, these do not seem to have a weekly limit.

Tier 6 Ritual Sites still offer ilvl269, Hero 4/6 gear from both the Great Vault and via Nebulous Core rerolls.
Bonus Roll from Tier 6 Ritual Site Quests
A new questline is available specifically for Tier 6 Ritual Sites. Every week, you will need to clear two Tier 6 Ritual Sites with specific affixes enabled. Like the Myth Gear questline from Showdown areas, these quests are timegated. The known reward for these quests at the moment is a
Nebulous Voidcore from the final quest.
- Week 1: Reinforcements
- Week 2: Malevolent Boons
- Week 3: Embers
- Week 4: Reinforcements / Magical Alarm Bells
- Week 5: Malevolent Boons / Patrols
- Week 6: Embers / Manifestations

However, as the quests change their name from “Ritual Site Studies” to “Advanced Ritual Site Studies” in Week 4, it is currently unknown if you will receive one Voidcore at the end of Week 6, or two Voidcores – One in Week 3, and another in Week 6.

Completing the six-week questline also awards the
Advanced Ritual Site Studies achievement.
Tier 6 Ritual Sites Achievement and Title
In addition to the above changes, a new challenge achievement is available for Ritual Sites:
Pinnacle Ritual Work requires you to complete a run of both Daggerspine Point and Broken Throne Ritual Sites at Tier 6 with all 8 Challenges active. This achievement grants the title Ritual Breaker.

The wording on the achievement implies that this achievement will only be obtainable throughout Midnight, becoming a Feat of Strength once the expansion is over. This is likely following the same rules as
Through the Looking Glass from the Horrific Visions revisit in The War Within. The achievement awarded the Mad title and is no longer obtainable as of Midnight.
