Blizzard has pushed a new build to the Patch 12.1 PTR, build 68914. Unlike previous builds, this is a Release Candidate (RC) build.
RC builds are usually pushed when Blizzard is done with big sweeping changes in the test realms and is preparing the build for the final release. This means we’ll likely see class tuning as hotfixes instead of new builds in the coming days/weeks.
This build contains additional changes announced earlier today.
Patch 12.1 Release Date
While not official, the community expects Patch 12.1 to release on August 11th (August 12th for EU), or 19 days from the release date of this build. This aligns with the historical trend of RC builds starting to appear about 2 weeks before the patch release date.
