The Sporefall raid coming in Patch 12.0.7 is bringing higher item level gear and new collectibles for players to obtain in this one-boss raid.
Here’s what we know from the PTR.
New Max Item Level Gear
The Sporefall raid drops Sporefused items. This gear has a higher base item level with no upgrades required. For each difficulty, it expands the item level of each upgrade track in a few slots, and allows players to get gear up to item level 298.
| Upgrade Path 6/6 | Sporefused | |
| Veteran | 250 | 259 |
| Champion | 263 | 272 |
| Hero | 276 | 285 |
| Myth | 289 | 298 |
In Patch 12.0.5, players can only obtain item level 298 gear (or 285 for Hero) through
Ascendant Voidcores, and only on trinkets and weapons.
The Sporefall raid gives each armor type a couple slots players can get Sporefused gear.
- Cloth: Chest, Feet
- Leather: Head, Waist
- Mail: Legs, Feet
- Plate: Chest, Waist
In addition, the raid contains a neck and ring with random secondary stats with equip abilties.
Rotmire’s Sporeheart and
Sporecaller’s Blooming Loop.

There’s also a new equip trinket,
Sporelord’s Mycelial Insignia, useable for all classes.
Sporefused is a change from the previous PTR build where the gear was Warbound Until Equipped.
With the introduction of Mythic Flex difficulty as way to allow raid groups who don’t have the flexibility to field a 20-man roster to try mythic raiding, more players will hopefully be able to get item level 298 gear.
Players will also be able to get an additional
Nebulous Voidcore from the quest Sporefall: Rotmire, which rewards players a
Void-Twisted Sporbit.
Bonus Loot Consists of Decor, Toys, and a Transmog
For players who are looking for collectibles, Rotmire drops a variety of spore-themed items for players to collect.
The
Luminous Rotshroom is new housing decor that can be used inside and outside.

There’s a new Heartstone called the
Mycomancer’s Hearthspore, and a new toy
Madcap Redcap, which allows you and your friends to “become one with the fungus.”
Lastly, the
Sporelord’s Shroom Cap is a new transmog, which is a recolored version of
Bitter Shroom Cap
