Northrend Timewalking is this week’s event in Midnight, in which players can revisit dungeons from the Wrath of the Lich King era. As one of the only Timewalking events with a raid, players can also revisit Ulduar and obtain a free piece of Hero-level loot in the process!
Champion Venomous Abyss Gear (Chance of Tier!) from Weekly Timewalking
The weekly quest A Frozen Path Through Time requires you to complete 5 Timewalking dungeons or kill 5 bosses in Timewalking UIduar, and rewards you with a
Cache of Amani Treasures, which grants a piece of Champion Gear from the Venomous Abyss raid.
As of this post, the cache also has a chance to contain Tier tokens!

Hero Piece of Gear from Ulduar Timewalking
Ulduar Timewalking is a decent way to get some pieces of gear in this week’s event, as bosses from the event drop ilvl292 (Champion 1/6) loot. However, the main gear attraction from this event is the reward from the quest Disturbance Detected: Ulduar. You can pick this quest up with Vormu by the fountain in Northrend Dalaran.

This quest requires you to defeat Yogg-Saron, the final boss of the Ulduar raid, and rewards a piece of ilvl305 (Hero 1/6) loot! It is still early in the season, so having access to a free piece of Hero level gear could make a difference in your gearing process.
Unlike most weekly event quests that reward gear, you do not receive a piece of gear from the current raid. Instead, the piece of gear you receive from this quest is themed after gear drops from the original Ulduar raid.
This means you cannot obtain certain desirable raid drops, such as Tier pieces or powerful pieces of loot like
Jan’thrazet, the Soul Fang. However, you can upgrade these pieces as you would a normal piece of gear from Midnight, or even Catalyze them into a tier piece (provided you have charges).
Additional Rewards from the Timewalking Quest
The quest also rewards 500
Timewarped Badge, used to purchase goods from several Timewalking vendors. The
Cache of Timewarped Treasures reward also has a chance to contain one of several raid mounts from Wrath of the Lich King:
Mimiron’s Head from Yogg-Saron in Ulduar.
Invincible’s Reins from the Lich King in Icecrown Citadel.
