Wait… 1,800 Rating with One Button?
The Single-Button Assistant is meant to help players automate their damage rotation. It’s a huge accessibility feature for all players.
But this player showed it’s much more powerful than expected.
Despite its 0.2-second cooldown between the casts, most DPS specs don’t suffer much DPS loss from this penalty.
What the Assistant Doesn’t Do
The Single-Button Assistant only manages your damage rotation, you still need to manually:
- Use your CC abilities;
- Activate defensive or utility cooldowns;
- Handle positioning;
- Cast interrupts.
Some specs, like Feral Druid or Havoc Demon Hunter require more manual input to work properly.
The OP stated Feral Druid required shifting to Bear Form for survivability, which means they had to manually play it, since Single-Button Assistant doesn’t work with defensives.
Havoc Demon Hunter required the manual use of movement abilities.
Which Class Felt Best?
Arms Warrior was the easiest class/spec to reach 1,800 PvP Rating, but the top performer that regular did 50% more damage than other players was Feral Druid.
