With the announcement of Warcraft Forever, Blizzard presented two new raids coming to their “Classic+” game mode shortly after launch: Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit.
Barrow Deeps – 10-Player Raid
A massive underground network connecting the Night Elves’ barrow dens, holding dangerous prisoners, where even allies aren’t normally welcome: This is the setting of Warcraft Forever’s first new raid.

In their Warcraft Forever Deep Dive, the developers mentioned a corruption seething through the complex and an infamous demon hunter once imprisoned there. That strongly suggests Illidan Stormrage – however, it is not confirmed that we will be able to set sight on the Betrayer just yet.
Hyjal Summit – 20-Player Raid
The second raid brings us to the aftermath of Warcraft III: Archimonde has been defeated, and the Night Elves lost their immortality. According to Blizzard, players will investigate a thread draining power from the land around Hyjal Summit.

Most interestingly, the developer also teased a “legendary power” during the Hyjal presentation and later confirmed that Warcraft Forever will, in fact, include a new legendary. However, details like its identity and its exact connection to this raid remain unrevealed.
Both raids will open on December 9, about five weeks after Warcraft Forever releases on November 4.
