Yesterday’s 12.1 PTR updates gave us some exciting insights into the near future for Player Housing—one of those changes being Large Exteriors!
Bigger is Always Better
Large Exteriors will be unlocked at House Level 12, the current maximum shown on the 12.1 PTR. House Level 12 also comes with an Interior Decor Placement Budget increase to 5975, and a Room Placement Budget increase to 134.
Currently, the Large Exteriors are available for Human, Night Elf, Orc, and Blood Elf housing exteriors, and thanks to @feladrae over on X, we can take a look!
Patch 12.1 is also set to bring some new Player Housing exteriors to the game! While we don’t have any information on what these new exteriors will look like, we do know players will be able to earn them without having to part with their cash.
Hello! This is a really good example of how initial datamining can be a bit misleading. While yes, there is a new exterior coming (and probably more in the future), the particular exterior found in PTR files will not be released in the Shop. It will be available for players to earn within the game.
