With the release of neighborhood endeavors, your characters will be able to skip the Mechagon introductory questline.
The new Moderate Mechanization endeavor has tasks requiring you to go to Mechagon. Access to the island has been locked behind a questline since its inception during the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Now, you’ll be able to immediately jump into the action to help your neighborhood!
The Mechagnome endeavor is one of the six that have been testable on the beta. Blood Elves, Ethereals, Grummels, Niffen, and Dracthyr are the others.
Earn New Decor and Rewards Just by Playing the Game
Neighborhood endeavors are a new monthly event in player housing, where neighborhoods work together to complete tasks, which unlock decor and rewards. Endeavors will complete passively for most players just by playing the game and includes task like completing Mythic+ dungeons, earning honor, completing world quests, and collecting lumber.
Completing the endeavor tasks reward House XP, 
Community Coupons to purchase items from traders, and 
Adventurer Dawncrest.
We will see endeavors release this week with the Midnight pre-patch. Pre-patch goes live on January 20th in NA, and January 21st in EU.
