Finally, after months of requesting the feature, Patch 12.1 will allow players to show off their pets in Player Housing! You’ll be able to choose whether your pets sit still or roam freely throughout your abode, all through the use of Pet Bed decor. Here are the details!
Pet Beds and Free Roaming
In order to display a pet in your home, you will need to assign them to a Pet Bed decor item. These are sold by new vendor Perry Winkles in Founder’s Point, or Agratha in Razorwind Shores.

Once placed, interact with the Pet Bed decor to choose between roaming or stationary. Pets placed outside can only be placed as stationary. As things stand on the PTR, pets are currently limited to 10 per house.
