Hoyoverse surprised players again with another Zenless Zone Zero drip marketing, and this time it is none other than Yidhari, a mysterious new agent from Spook Shack!
Unlike her teammates, Yidhari brings something very different to the table… tentacles. Lots of tentacles. From the looks of her drip art and animation, she will be an Ice Rupture Agent, and judging by the presentation, it is safe to assume she will be an S-rank agent.
Yidhari’s Own Words
Her drip reveals a character who clearly lives half in reality, half in stories, does not talk much, but does write a lot:
- “I wish stories never end — then I’d have the courage to keep turning pages forever.”
- “A story is the author’s romantic corruption of reality.”
- “Whether it’s cold, hard facts or a wildly imaginative fairy tale, the distance from truth doesn’t determine if a story’s good or bad.“
- “Don’t worry about that out-of-place feeling, it’ll fade away as the story unfolds. Just dive into my narrative without any worries.”
What Others Say About Her
Other Spook Shack members also have some interesting takes on Yidhari! According to Lucia, she can hold three written conversations at full speed at the same time, and Manato is still half traumatized by her spooky stories:
- Yuzuha: “Nothing new under the sun, hu? Why don’t you try asking her about it?“
- Lucia: “Don’t let her slow talking fool you. When she’s typing, she’s lightning fast! She can keep three different conversations in the same group chat going at full steam all at once!“
- Manato: “While sharing spooky stories late one night, she suddenly said ‘I saw your childhood self in the Hollow.’ No joke, that was the first time a ghost story made me break out in cold sweat.”
Between the tentacles, mysterious speech, and her clear love for storytelling and the unknown, Yidhari feels like the most surreal Spook Shack member yet. She looks like the type to blur the line between reality and fiction.
She will likely play a big role in future content, both in gameplay as a high-ranking Ice-Rupture agent, and in the Spook Shack upcoming arcs.
