Act 6, new quests in Act 4, massive Paladin and Druid changes, and an Enigma nerf to top it all off? A remarkable Diablo 2 rumor is spreading right before BlizzCon. Can the community trust a rumor supposedly connected to a proven Warlock leaker from earlier this year?

A Diablo 2 Leak Too Good To Be True

The rumored list of possible changes to Diablo 2: Resurrected, which has been shared in the official D2R forums and the Korean platform DCInside, is truly remarkable:

  • A new Act 6 and additional Act 4 quests
  • Druid: Werewolf and Werebear teleporting while shapeshifted, new Hurricane interactions with Twister and Tornado, Crushing Blow for Summon Grizzly
  • Paladin: Blessed Hammer travelling straight before spiraling, Vengeance rework
  • Enigma losing +2 to All Skills
  • A major Famine Runeword rework
  • A new “Scabbard” equipment type
  • Bizarre new Act VI monsters

While most of these changes can be traced back to years of community feedback, the statements about new Act-related content obviously stand out.

A Blizzard Survey Supports This List

While a new Act may sound unbelievable to Diablo 2 fans, Blizzard has asked the community for concrete opinions about new story content. In a survey earlier this year, for example, players were asked to provide feedback about many different massive gameplay changes, including new acts and quests.

Obviously, this exact survey could have inspired a fake leak. That is why the mention of a potential leaker, who supposedly leaked screenshots of the Warlock earlier this year, is supposed to add credibility to the mentioned feature list. However, we have investigated the origins of the leak and cannot confirm that the source was a certain “Warlock leaker” of the past.

Still – Something Is Happening With D2R

Nonetheless, two new Diablo 2: Resurrected builds have recently made it to the Vendor 2 endpoint, which implies active D2R development. We also know that Diablo 2 will be playable on this year’s BlizzCon show floor, further indicating activity around Diablo’s legacy games. In the end, 2026 is Diablo’s 30th Anniversary, which should also be celebrated in the remastered Sanctuary of Diablo 2: Resurrected!
