As Diablo 4 Season 11 launches next week, Blizzard has confirmed the new Uniques for each class! Of course, each one drops from a specific Lair Boss. Since the season is adding new class mechanics, new powers, and updated endgame progression, knowing where to target-farm the right items can give you a big advantage on day one.
Below is a small breakdown of every Season 11 Lair Boss that can drop one of the new Uniques, so you can plan your farming route.
Lord Zir – Spiritborn & Barbarian Uniques
Lord Zir is the big winner this season, dropping two of the new Uniques. Spiritborn players will get their new pair of boots, Path of the Emissary, and Barbarians can farm the new pants Chainscourged Mail. Both items open up pretty good build possibilities, making Zir a top priority boss for week one farming.
Drops:
• Path of the Emissary (Spiritborn Boots)
• Chainscourged Mail (Barbarian Pants)
Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint – Druid Unique
Grigoire on the other side will only drop the new Druid boots, Khamsin Steppewalkers. These are built for Druids who want to focus on nature spells with fast movement, Unhindered uptime, and immobilization as you dash through enemies. For Druid players, Grigoire is basically mandatory early on this season.
Drops:
• Khamsin Steppewalkers (Druid Boots)
Best in Ice – Necromancer Unique
Necromancers get their new summon-focused weapon, Gravebloom, from Best in Ice. This unique completely restructures how you can play with golems by letting you summon three faster mini-golems at once, offering a very different minion army. If you are planning a minion Necro for Season 11, this boss is your first stop.
Drops:
• Gravebloom (Necromancer One-Handed Mace)
Andariel & Duriel – Rogue Unique (Shared Source)
Andariel is one of the sources for Death’s Pavane, a new pants Unique tied to
Dance of Knives. It encourages an active, flowing melee playstyle where collecting dropped knives ramps your damage. Rogues who run shadow or physical DoK builds will definitely want this.
Duriel shares the same Rogue drop as Andariel. The advantage, however, is that players who regularly farm Duriel for Mythics now have an extra reason to go back. If you are trying to not get completely bored out, rotating between the two bosses is probably the most consistent approach. If you want to focus on one single boss, Duriel is usually faster to kill.
Drops:
• Death’s Pavane (Rogue Pants)
Varshan – Sorcerer Unique
Finally, Orsivane, the new Sorcerer one-handed mace, comes from Varshan. This one encourages you to actually play your sorcerer with unused defensive skills. It is a great item for creative Sorcerer builds that want freedom rather than strict skill setups with two mandatory defensive skills.
Drops:
• Orsivane (Sorcerer One-Handed Mace)
Which Boss Should You Farm First?
Of course, this entirely depends on the class you play and the build you want to make, but here is a recap for those specific new uniques:
- Lord Zir is the highest-value target for Barbarian and Spiritborn.
- Grigoire is the obvious pick for Druids.
- Best in Ice is for minion Necros.
- Rogues can rotate Duriel and Andariel to double their chances.
- Sorcerers only need to focus on Varshan.
Even if you are not playing the builds tied to these Uniques, chances are these bosses drop another unique that you will need instead.
