How to Farm Uniques from Bosses in Diablo 4 (Season 3)

Introduction

Since Season 2 of Diablo 4, we have been able to target farm Uniques from different bosses, including Uber Uniques! Below, we will go into detail on which bosses drop which Uniques, and how to spawn those bosses.

Bosses

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, can be spawned in World Tier 3 and 4 by running Helltides and opening Tortured Offerings that now drop Living Steel, which is then used to access Grigoire. He will have a drop pool of Uniques, and a unique cosmetic Demonbinder Mount Armor (shown below), that only he can drop.

The Beast in the Ice

The Beast in Ice can be spawned in World Tier 4. Beginning with Tier 30 Nightmare Dungeons, you can start collecting Distilled Fear to take to the Occultist and craft into a Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil, which will then teleport you to the Beast in Ice’s Dungeon. He will have a drop pool of Uniques and two unique cosmetics, The Skull Torch and Fell Steed Mount Trophies (shown below), that only he can drop.

Echo of Varshan

The Echo of Varshan can be spawned in World Tier 3 and 4 by collecting parts of Varshan’s Body from killing Grotesque Debtors, or as a guaranteed drop from turning in your 10th Grim Favors to the Tree of Whispers. Grotesque Debtors only appear in areas where you are currently completing Whispers. You will need to collect a certain amount of Varshan’s Body parts to be able to summon him on World Tier 3 or 4, with World Tier 4 also requiring a Malignant Heart. He will have a drop pool of Uniques and a unique cosmetic, The Flesh-Weld Rod Trophy (shown below), that only he can drop.

Update: Echo of Varshan, on WT4, now also drops “Malignant Rings”.

Lord Zir

When you beat World Bosses or Legion Events on World Tier 4, you can get an Exquisite Blood drop, and once you collect enough of them they will let you summon Lord Zir the Dark Master. He will have a drop pool of Uniques and a unique cosmetic, The Diadem of the Ancient Helm (shown below), that only he can drop.

• Greaves of the Empty Tomb
• Lidless Wall

Rogue:

• Grasp of Shadow
• Eyes in the Dark
• Skyhunter
• Asheara’s Khanjar

Duriel, King of Maggots

Duriel, King of Maggots, can be fought only on World Tier 4 by collecting Mucus-Slick Eggs from Grigoire and Shards of Agony from Varshan, both of which only drop from the World Tier 4 versions of these bosses. Collect enough of both the Shards and the Eggs, then you will be able to summon Duriel, King of Maggots. He is the most difficult new boss to be introduced, but is supposed to be slightly easier than Echo of Lilith. Duriel has a unique drop pool, an increased chance to drop Uber Uniques, and a chance to drop the Smouldering Brimstone Mount, shown below this section.
