Tired of Leveling Alts? Here is a Faster Way to Farm 
Obducite in Diablo 4 Season 9! Farming Obducite can feel like a grind, especially if you have seen the popular method that goes around lately on Reddit and via every content creator. It involves starting a new character, leveling it to 60, and resetting quests just to farm Strongrooms.
Yeah… no thanks.
Luckily, one clever player, yonkzoid, has shared a much faster and less painful workaround that skips all the alt-leveling nonsense entirely.
Combine Strongroom Sigils & Boss Lairs
Instead of grinding out a new character, here is what you do:
- Activate any Nightmare Sigil (ideally one with the Strongroom affix, but not mandatory).
- Do NOT enter the Nightmare Dungeon.
- Instead, teleport directly to various Boss Lairs (like Grigoire, Varshan, Lord Zir, etc.).
- Check if the Wayfinder icon appears, which indicates a Strongroom has spawned. If you do not remember what it is, it’s the sort of aura that appears around you when you enter a dungeon, that indicates there is indeed a Strongroom not far.
- Find the Strongroom, run it and grab the Obducite.
- Rinse and repeat across multiple lairs. Yes, you can chain them.
Some players even reported multiple Strongrooms spawning at once across different lairs, making this an incredibly efficient method when done with a group.
Keep in mind that it is random, and you may not get a Strongroom in each Layer. You also do not need to beat any lair Boss for this. Just enter their dungeon and look for the Strongroom.
Bonus Tips:
- Any Nightmare Sigil works, not just Strongroom-tagged ones, so burn your worst ones.
- Keep in mind that Sigils with Strongroom affixes will just have more chances to spawn a lot of Strongrooms.
- While some players say Belial’s lair never spawns Strongrooms, others claim they have seen it happen, so just head in and check for yourself.
- This method may not last forever. It smells like a bug, so farm while you still can!
- Do it in Torment 4 if you can. You will obtain more Obducite.
While it is not the perfect way to farm Obducite, it is a good one to skip the alt grind. Just pop a Nightmare Sigil, ignore the dungeon, and bounce between boss lairs to spot free Strongrooms. It is quick, easy, and way less painful.
