Diablo 4 Just Killed Two Infinite Farms Players Were Using All Season

Diablo 4 has just received its latest patch, 3.1.2. This patch resolves several issues in the game, most of which were introduced in the last two seasons.

First, the newest crafting Cube recipe finally got renamed. As we have talked about before, prior to the newest patch the recipe was called Upgrade to Mythic. The recipe’s name was very misleading and led many players to accidentally destroy their valuable items.

The reason behind this confusion is that the recipe does not upgrade an item, but instead changes it into a random Mythic of the same item type. In other words, the name of the recipe did not accurately describe what it actually did.

Now, this recipe is simply called Craft Mythic, providing more clarity on what it actually does.

Throughout the game’s history, Rogues have had numerous instances of bugged skills dealing unintended amounts of damage. This was also true last season, and it seems that whenever devs manage to fix one skill, another one arises. The latest bugged ability was Dash and its Shadow Play upgrade.

The patch that went live today fixes this issue. This should result in much healthier leaderboards, as Rogues have been by far the most dominant class this season.

There have also been some undocumented changes. Before this patch went live, there were ways to infinitely farm Deathtoll Chamber for Superior Lair Keys. Players could also infinitely reset Escalation Nightmare Dungeons with good affixes, earning a lot of gems or gold in the process.

Fans on Reddit report that these exploits no longer work.

In another undocumented change, Blizzard has also restored the Pit‘s invulnerability bubble. This has been a major complaint from players, who often wondered why this long-standing feature was removed in the first place.

A lot of fans shared their stories online, in which they killed the boss and finished the run, only to be killed by a random ground effect. This happened to Hardcore players as well, resulting in them losing their characters entirely.

The Pit bubble once again protects players who have finished the Pit.
