Blizzard has just released the patch notes for the upcoming Patch 3.1.1 of Diablo 4, coming on July 14th. After a pretty rough start for Season 14, players have been eagerly awaiting patches and hotfixes that could improve the game’s current state. However, the new patch is not the fix that we’ve all been hoping for.
Still, fans can expect some much-welcomed quality-of-life changes coming this Tuesday. The most important ones are buffs to Pandemonium Fragments, a rare material necessary to craft your own Mythic Uniques with the new Horadric Cube recipe. The game has been pretty cheap with this material, so come Tuesday, several changes will be introduced that should allow more players to craft their best-in-slot items.
The first change comes to the crafting recipe itself. We will need only four Fragments to craft a Mythic, down from five. The new Boss, Corrupted Reaper, will also give two Fragments on the highest Torment levels, which is twice as many as it does now.

Make sure you’re using the Lair of Plenty War Plan upgrade when fighting this Boss, because with two Lair Hoard Chests, you will get four Fragments instantly, which will be enough for an item upgrade. It is also a good idea to save all of your Superior Lair Keys until after the patch to get the most out of the rewards.
Finally, Glints of Hope, the infinitely repeatable reputation board, are also getting a massive boost. Prior to the patch, players had a chance to get a Fragment from every cache, but now this reward is guaranteed. Just like with other reputation boards in the past, these caches fill up very quickly, so you might already have a dozen caches waiting for you in Zarbinzet.
If you still haven’t crafted your perfect Mythic Unique, save these caches until the patch hits, as this is a perfect opportunity for some easy rewards.
