Season 16 will be introducing a new form of borrowed power, which is Horadric Items.
These will be Legendary items with extra affixes that synergize with your Talisman Charms. The extra affixes on Armor and Weapon slots will act similarly to affixes on Charms, giving various bonuses such as bonus Damage or Skill Ranks. However, the extra affixes on Jewelry will give +1 Set Count to a specific Charm Set.
The extra Set Count from Jewelry will effectively increase the number of available Talisman slots you have from 6 to 9, enabling some crazy combos.
For example, a Legendary 6-Slot Seal, or an Annihilus, will allow players to equip a full 5-Set bonus, a 2-Set bonus, and a Unique Charm all at the same time.
This can be taken a step further with the Seal of the Diamond Mind, which reduces the number of Charms needed for Set bonuses by 1. As this makes the full 5-Set bonus attainable with just 4 Charms, you can effectively equip the full 5-Set bonus from two different Sets, as well as a Unique Charm.
This can be especially strong for classes with Set bonuses that are more universal and can be applied to a variety of builds. An example of this is Rogue, which uses Sets such as Spellbound that work with any Imbuement, and Sightless, which can be slotted into any build. The 5-Set bonuses usually provide around 200% multiplicative damage, which is extremely powerful.
