In Diablo 4, the usual way to get Mythic Uniques is by slaying monsters, more specifically, ladder bosses. Each boss has a small chance to drop one of these powerful Mythic Uniques. However, this can quickly become frustrating, as you can also drop the same unwanted Mythic multiple times.
How to Target Mythic Uniques
To help with this, we have two crafting systems for Mythic Uniques:
- Random Mythic Unique at the Blacksmith: In exchange for 2
Resplendent Spark and a ton of Gold, you can get one random Mythic unique. - Target crafting at the Jeweler: Exchange 2 Resplendent Spark and many Runes against the Mythic Unique you want. You usually aim for the
Harlequin Crest (Shako) if you didn’t drop it yet.
When It’s Time for You to Go Play the Lottery
Even when crafting a specific Mythic, the chances of rolling Greater Affixes is still quite low. But Reddit user NorthEndVA just did something impossible: crafting a Harlequin Crest through the Jeweler and hit the jackpot! Four Greater Affixes in one go. That’s not just a great roll, it’s a perfect Shako.

Rolling one or two Greater Affixes on a Mythic is already rare, so four is really something out of the ordinary. It might be the time for you to start farming for Runes and craft some more Mythics!
