With every update since Genshin Impact launched 5 years ago, there’s been hundreds of events for players to enjoy. Not only events, but also many Primogems and other valuable rewards from other content. This time, we’ll discuss all of the permanent gameplay modes since Version 1.5 to Luna II. See what’s currently available in Genshin Impact, and what might be releasing next!
Serenitea Pot
Serenitea Pot is the first permanent mode added in Version 1.5. This gameplay is similar to The Sims, where you can design and arrange furniture and buildings in your own world. You can craft furniture, receive exchangeable gifts, grow resources, interact with characters you love, and also invite other players to visit and interact in your world.
If you’re looking for passive resources, or a space to call your own, look no further! Players can unlock this feature after reaching Adventure Rank 35 and completing the related quests to “A Teapot to Call Home” in Liyue.

Fishing
Since Version 2.1, players can go Fishing in Genshin Impact. Its gameplay is very interesting, as players use unique fishing rods and bait in various locations across Teyvat. Players can use their catches to cook meals or exchange valuable rewards at the Fishermen’s Association.
To start fishing, complete the World Mission “Explosion Population” after unlocking the Serenitea Pot.

Genius Invokation TCG
Genshin Impact’s TCG, also known as Genius Invokation TCG, was released in Version 3.3. This virtual Trading Card Game allows players to battle NPCs or other players (PVP) with a deck of cards. Players can customize these decks with their favorite characters, weapons, artifacts, and more.
To start playing, you must reach Adventure Rank 32 and complete the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”.

Imaginarium Theater
Imaginarium Theater is an end game mode added in Version 4.7. It is similar to Spiral Abyss, where you can fight various enemies across stages. However, in Imaginarium Theater, players follow a new theme at the start of each season. The theme consists of 8 Stages, selecting up to 22 characters to battle with.
You normally only play with 4 characters at a time, so this is an excellent opportunity to use everyone you’ve built so far on your account! You can unlock the Imaginarium Theater after reaching Adventure Rank 35.

Repertoire of Myriad Melodies
Repertoire of Myriad Melodies is a musical rhythm game mode added in Version 5.3. This gameplay is very enjoyable, because you can play all the music in Teyvat, while customizing the rhythm difficulty. You can either enjoy it casually, or test your creative abilities by making your own score.
To unlock Repertoire of Myriad Melodies, players must complete the quest “To the Winds of Freedom” and reach Adventure Rank 35.

Stygian Onslaught
Stygian Onslaught is the latest end game mode released since Version 5.7. Similar to Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater, players can challenge Stygian Onslaught’s difficult stages by building their characters well.
To unlock most features of Stygian Onslaught, you’ll have to reach at least Adventure Rank 20 and complete the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”. Completing the Archon Quest “Perilous Trail” is also advised.
In addition to battling, you can also obtain Primogems and Dusts of Enlightenment, which are useful for rolling Artifact substats. If you choose the more challenging mode (Dire Difficulty), you can receive the Radiant Phantasm: Incursion Repeller Weapon Skin.
If you want to receive Disturbance Outbreak rewards from Hard Difficulty and higher, you’ll have to be at least Adventure Rank 45.

Miliastra Wonderland
Miliastra Wonderland is a new innovative system that is now available in Luna II, also known as User-Generated Content (UGC). This game system is almost the same as Serenitea Pot but more complex, because players can create their own characters, create their own worlds, play various types of games, PVP, and other challenges.
Players can unlock Miliastra Wonderland after reaching Adventure Rank 5 and completing the Archon Quest “Knights of Favonius”. If you can access the Wish and Shop features, you can start playing today!

So far, Miliastra Wonderland has been quite unique and diverse, but what do you think? Will there be new permanent gameplay modes next year as well? What other things could they add to Genshin Impact that’s not already there?
We’ve seen the quality of life changes added to Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. Permanent legacy events, cutscene skipping… the possibilities are endless. Look forward to seeing what’s next, Travelers!
