The official Special Program for Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version Luna VI just took place! The livestream featured a massive story update for the Traveler, new zones, official previews of upcoming characters, events, and more.
We put together everything you need to know about Luna VI!

New and Returning Characters
The following characters will be featured during Phase I and Phase II of Version Luna VI!
Phase 1
- Linnea
- A Fae from Snezhnaya
- Adventurers’ Guild Advisor, deeply devoted to the study of nature and living creatures
- Fae companion Lumi is a Jack Frost and a reliable helper
- Linnea provides Geo RES reduction, increases Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG, deals off-field Geo DMG, and offers healing, making her a versatile support for Geo teams
- Linnea can summon Lumi in various ways to help the team in combat. When Lumi is on the field, nearby enemies’ Geo RES is reduced
- Exploration passives:
- During exploration, Linnea can use Ultra Convenient Quick Arrows for resource gathering
- If you hit small animals, the arrow will be transformed into a special Net and capture them
- You can also use it to mark an ore while calling Lumi to strike it and collect the dislodged ore quickly
- Chasca Rerun
Phase 2
New Chronicled Wish Banner
A new Chronicled Wish Banner will be available during Luna VI with some of the best characters of Fontaine and their weapons!
Redemption Codes
The following codes have been shared during the stream! They can be redeemed right now and are valid until March 30, 2025:

- Scaleblade
All the codes reward 100 Primogems and some materials. Once you have redeemed the redemption codes, the rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox.
New Map Expansion
Luna VI also adds a massive new map to the game, so get ready to explore the new zone! We heard about this part of the world since the start of the game, but we have never been there yet!
- Dornman Port – Mondstadt extension
- Located to the north of Cider Lake, past the rolling Flower fields
- Used to be an important outpost for detecting threats
- Nowadays, it is Mondstadt’s primary port for commercial trade
The gentle sea breeze carries the scent of fine wine through the bustling port. Yet there are places even the ever-present wind cannot reach, or rather, it chooses not to. Time to explore those forgotten zones!
- The Abandoned Sanitarium
- Beyond Dornman Port, on the summit of Windrest Peak
- A woman in need of help will be waiting for you there
- A statue of the Anemo Archon awaits you at the top, and it opens a path to the sky
- Temple of Space
- A repository of fragments created by Asmoday, who rules over sky and space
- Since the traveler comes from beyond the stars, he might have some special privileges there
- The different areas of the Temple of Space are elevated landscapes from various civilizations of Teyvat, designed to preserve their respective cultures, such as:
- Luyang Academy, based on ancient Liyue
- The Desert Pavilion, based on Sumeru
- The Mahavaipulya Chamber
- Gameplay will center around the idea of “space.” In order to help you with that, you will meet a new friend, Dex, who will accompany you
However, the temple is also guarded by special “Watchers”, stationed there to guard the temple in Asmoday’s absence. When the “rules” of this hallowed place are broken, the temple goes on high alert! And this might bring back some traumatic memories for the Traveler!
Events & Gameplay Updates
During version Luna VI, you can expect the following events, gameplay changes, adjustments, and other additions!
- Linnea’s Story Quest – Alcyon Chapter: Act I
- Dive into Linnea’s Fae past and how she came to live among humans
- Join a competition with Linnea and your Tepeltisaure friend in Natlan for some Primogems and amazing rewards!
- A Stilled Interstice of a Thousand Winds
- Dornman Port limited-time area exploration rewards
- Where Waves Meet the Reef
- You and Paimon receive a letter from the Curatorium of Secrets, and Nefer seems to have a commission for you!
- A Trade Expo is taking place in Nod Krai, and you need to make sure everything goes according to plan
- You might make some unexpected discoveries if you check out the various sellers!
- Travelers will also need to compete in a few mini-games to help out participants, from Aino to Navia, Beidou, and more!
- Claim Primogems, various materials, and a free Jahoda
- Rapid Capture
- Head back to Fontaine and check in with Petit Lumière and director Méliès for a new filming process
- Surveying & Mapping Studies
- Head to Mondstadt to participate in Mika‘s surveying and mapping experience

Miliastra Wonderland Updates
The UGC content Miliastra Wonderland is also getting some well-deserved updates:
- Scaleblade Chronicles Skins
- Manekins can now pass the beacon to each other in the lobby
- Lobby capacity is being increased to 40
- New quests for free rewards, including Prismatic Crystals and a 4-star academy-style outfit set
- New outfits are being added
- Effects added to the edition
- Extending skills such as sprinting
- New asset library added to the editor
- Environment system has been improved
