The official Special Program for Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version Luna III is happening right now! The livestream features a major story update for Nod-Krai, the official previews of the new upcoming characters, events, and much more.

Song of the Welkin Moon: Interlude
The stream kicks off with the usual trailer for the next version, and you can watch it here:
It is time to prepare a nice party to celebrate the victory over Rerir! Moon Prayer Night is at our door, and everyone is celebrating Columbina! Will she be able to go back to the Moon? On the other side, Durin is about to uncover some secrets about his “Mother”, reveal the extent of his power!
Venti, the Anemo Archon, is also joining as a major storm is coming, and threatening Mondstadt once again! Barbatos, the most powerful Archon, will not stand still as his nation is in danger!
You can also expect to see more of older characters, such as Wanderer and Mona making a return, and Alice joining the party too, bringing N, Nicole, another mage of the Hexenzirkel! On top of that, the Traveler might finally find his old spaceship!
New and Returning Characters
The following characters will be featured during Phase I and Phase II of Version Luna III!
Phase 1
- Durin – Has two distinct combat styles after casting his Elemental Skill:
- Tap his Normal Attack to enter the Denial of Darkness state – The aggressive side. Using his Elemental Burst in this state will increase his Vaporize and Melt reaction DMG, while periodically dealing Pyro DMG to nearby enemies
- Tap his Elemental Skill again right after casting it a first time, to enter Confirmation of Purity – More of a support for his companions. Using his Burst in this state will periodically deal DMG to nearby enemies, while decreasing their Pyro resistance
- He can also decrease other elemental resistances, by triggering the corresponding elemental reactions
- His Burst animation changes depending on the state he is in
- Venti – The best Archon is getting a well deserved update! The threat is getting bigger, and Venti decided it was time to recover his lost powers!
- Tap his Elemental Skill to summon a storm zone
- Hold his Elemental Skill to summon a larger storm that allows him to also fly really high in the sky
- His Elemental Burst summons a vortex that pulls in enemies and deals continuous DMG
- If the active character triggers a swirl reaction while Stormeye is active, their DMG and Stormeye ‘s DMG will be increased for a certain amount of time
- Venti’s Burst changes his normal attacks too. They are converted into Windsunder Arrows that pierce through enemies in their path, dealing Anemo DMG and extending Stormeye’s duration
- Venti is also getting a new bow – The Daybreak Chronicles
- Jahoda – Featured 4-Star character on Durin and Venti’s Banners.
- Can dash towards enemies with her Elemental Skill, and absorbs the elements on them to fill her flask
- Throws the flask at enemies once it is full, dealing the corresponding DMG
- Her Burst deals Anemo DMG and summons an assistance robot that continuously restores HP to the active character
- She has similar investigation abilities as Nefer

Redemption Codes
The following codes have been shared during the stream! They can be redeemed right now and are valid until November 23, 2025:

Once you have redeemed the redemption codes, the rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox.
Events & Gameplay Updates
During version Luna III, you can expect the following events and gameplay changes, adjustments and additions!
- Durin’s special Story Quest – Draco Rubedo Chapter: Act I. Completing this quest on time will reward you with upgrade materials for Durin, including a special “skin” that will make him shiny!
- Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress – New Boss in Nod-Krai for the leveling materials of Durin
- Witch’s Homework – The Hexenzirkel Mages are coming! The traveler is getting a handy dictionary from the Hexenzirkel, with a few tasks to complete. After completing them, the following characters will become Hexerei characters. Having two of those in the party will grant the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect! This effect will enhance the party’s combat abilities, for example, some of Venti’s changes will only take effect if the Secret Rite is active. All the following characters will gain their own Hexerei abilities once you complete their respective tasks.
- Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey – Join the Dragonspine International Cross Country Challenge in Mondstadt! It is like a winter sports event in the mountains.
- During this event, you can compete in various mini-games, including the Hide & Seek game, but in the snow this time!
- One of the event rewards is a new 4-Star Bow – Rainbow Serpent’s Rain Bow
- Bing-Bang Finchball – Head back to Natlan for a new pinball game!
- Heroic Clash: Saurian Brawl – Co-op event where you need to indwell Saurian and collect points for rewards!
- Marvelous Merchandise – Liben returns once more with his packages! He even has new information on a new region of Mondstadt!
- New interactions have also been added to the Damselette and Kuuhenki!
- Repertoire of Myriad Melodies receives some updates
- Custom performance mode is being added
- Co-op mode is launching
- TCG updates with new cards
- Improvements to character lists and sorting options
- Increased the amount of reputation experience for Natlan and other older regions
- Daily rewards can be easier claimed from Katherine
Miliastra Wonderland Updates
The UGC content Miliastra Wonderland is also getting some well deserved updates:
- New component sharing platform can be accessed through the editing tool
- You can receive a total of 20 pulls by playing during this version
- New cosmetics are coming in the upcoming version
The stream also ended on a teaser for an upcoming collaboration event! Paimon lost her appetite after receiving a very cryptic letter! We will learn more about this on December 6th, so keep your eye open!
