HoYoverse have released their update about what we can expect from Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7 “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday“. We can expect a Story update with a new Trailblaze Mission, 3 Event Warps featuring the new character Cyrene as well as returning characters Hyacine, Castorice, Tribbie, Phainon, Cipher and Mydei including their respective light cones. Furthermore, there will also be new Events and Game modes introduced along with some exciting new additions which will be mentioned further in this news post.
What Story Updates Are There?
Version 3.7 will feature an exciting new Trailblaze mission continuing the Main Story which will be available from 05 November, 2025 called “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday“. This new Trailblaze mission will require you to have completed the Trailblaze Mission “Amphoreus – Gods, Sound the Anthem of Creation” in order to unlock the new mission.
What Character Warps and Light Cones Will We See?
Honkai: Star Rail will have 3 Phases of Event Warps over the next couple months. These 3 Phases will feature new and returning 5-Star characters as well as their respective Light Cones. See below the following release dates for each Phase:
- Phase 1 (Cyrene) – 4th November, 2025 – 16th December, 2025
- Phase 2 (Hyacine, Castorice & Tribbie) – 4th November, 2025 – 26th November, 2025
- Phase 3 (Phainon, Cipher & Mydei) – 26th November, 2025 – 16th December, 2025
Cyrene’s Banner will be running throughout the entire patch giving you more of a chance to pull for her.
Phase 1 Overview:
Phase 1 which is available from the start of the 3.7 update will feature the Event Banner “Ripples Rejoined” introducing the new 5-Star character Cyrene. Cyrene follows the Path of Remembrance with the Ice element and will be a Support character within team compositions.
See below the boosted 4-Star characters that will also be available on this banner:
“Brilliant Fixation” will be the Phase 1 Light Cone Banner which will feature the following Light Cones:
- 5-Star This Love, Forever (Remembrance)
- 4-Star The Story’s Next Page (Remembrance)
- 4-Star Concert for Two (Preservation)
- 4-Star Boundless Choreo (Nihility)
Phase 2 Overview:
Phase 2 will be available from the 4th November, 2025 in conjuntion to Cyrene Banner and will run until 26th November, 2025. This Banner is called “Indelible Coterie” and will feature the following 5-Star returning characters:
Coalesced Truths Banner will feature the following return of these 5-Star Light Cones:
- Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky (Remembrance)
- Make Farewells More Beautiful (Remembrance)
- If Time Were a Flower (Harmony)
In addition to the 5-Star returns we can also see the same boosted 4-Star characters and Light Cones seen in the Phase 1 Banner for Cyrene.
Phase 3 Overview:
The final phase of the 3.7 update will be available from 26th November, 2025 – 16th December, 2025 after the Phase 2 Banner has concluded. This Banner features the awaited return of 5-Star character Phainon as well as other exciting characters. The characters available during this banner include:
The returning 5-Star Light Cones for the mentioned 5-Star characters will include:
- Thus Burns the Dawn (Destruction)
- Lies Dance on the Breeze (Nihility)
- Flame of Blood, Blaze my Path (Destruction)
Phase 3 will also feature the same 4-Star returning characters and Light Cones as the previous Banners.
What New Events and Game Modes Will We See in 3.7?
From the start of the 3.7 update until Version 4.0 the event Stellar Companions will be returning and rewards you with Golden Companion Spirit as a login bonus through the Travel Log and allows you to gain a 5-Star Character. In the 3.7 update Topaz & Numby will be featured in the shop as a new addition. You must be Trailblaze Level 4 and up.
Another new and exciting game mode that has been permanently added is Currency Wars. To find out more information about Currency Wars check out this post here!
The fun and exciting new event Snack Dash features adorable little critters where you support your favourite contestant with a chance to receive rewards such as Self Modelling Resin, Tracks of Destiny, Stellar Jades and more. This Event will be available from the start of 3.7 until 15th December, 2025 and will require you to be at least Trailblaze Level 21 and above.
Relic Recon is another new Event being introduced at the start of 3.7 rewarding players with 5-Star 15+ Relics by completing missions and gaining access cards by exploring Hertas Collection Vault. This event will be available until 5th December, 2025 and will require you to be Trailblaze Level 21 and above.
Through the Gift of Odyssey logging into the game each day will allow you to gain check-in rewards which will give you 10x Star Rail Special Passes. This will start from the beginnning of the 3.7 update and can be claimed until 16th December, 2025.
Returning once again is the Planar Fissue Event giving you the chance to receive double rewards from the Simulated Universe for a limited number of times. This event will require you to have unlocked the Simulated Universe at World 3 as a minimum. In addition to this the Garden of Plenty Event is also back for another rerun allowing you to challenge Calyx (Golden & Crimson) for a chance to earn extra rewards on top of the default rewards. These double rewards are limited for a number of times.
The Tidal Bounty system will feature an update in 3.7 and will allow you to obtain various rewards such as Stellar Jades, Modelling Resin and much more. Exploring Amphoreus “Era Nova” will enable you to collect Disorder Ambrosia as well as many other rewards including Star Rail Passes.
What Happens after the 3.7 Update?
Once the new Trailblaze Mission has been completed and the Story has been read you will be rewarded with Trailblaze Fashion, Self Modelling Resin, Stellar Jades and so much more. Get excited for what’s yet to come in the upcoming new version of Honkai: Star Rail.
What Other New Features Are Coming?
The introduction of the new 5-Star character Cyrene will further feature a new system “Cherished Recollection” which will be available from 3.7 until 16th December, 2025 when Cyrene’s Banner ends. This new system allows you to collect Oneiric Shards in order to unlock The Promise’s “∞” Cyrene’s Stellar Couture amongst other rewards.
The in-game Store will feature a limited-time Special Pack which will include Star Rail Pass, Star Rail Special Pass and Credits.
The Nameless Honor battle pass will have its update at the start of 3.7 and will last until 15th December, 2025. To unlock the battle pass you need to be Trailblaze level 12 and above and have completed the Trailblaze Mission “Jarilo-VI Long Wait for the Blades Edge”.
