Calyx (Crimson) Challenges in the Interastral Peace Guide

To get started, teleport directly to a Calyx (Golden) or Calyx (Crimson). You can either find them on your map, or navigate using the Interastral Peace Guide's Survival Index menu. Each world features three different Calyx (Golden) challenges, and there is a Calyx (Crimson) challenge for every Character path.

How to Complete a Calyx Challenge

If you have never completed a Calyx (Golden) or Calyx (Crimson) challenge before, you basically fight wave(s) of enemies in exchange for Upgrade Material rewards. The type of reward you get is based on which Calyx challenge you choose.

Calyx (Crimson) Challenge Menu

Once you have selected a Calyx challenge, you can set how much Trailblaze Power to consume, determining how many rewards you will get. The amount is also affected by the enemy's difficulty, which is configurable on the side of the screen.

Please Note: The available difficulties are subsequently unlocked as you upgrade your Equilibrium Level. To learn more on how to increase your Equilibrium Level, see our guide below:

Team Setup

You will have the chance to configure your team before starting the challenge. Depending on which Calyx challenge you choose, the game will recommend Combat Types for you to use. These Combat Types are usually commonly shared across enemies, so it is highly recommended to use characters with these Combat Types.

To learn more on how to build effective teams, consider reading the guide below:

If you do not have a 4th character to slot in, or if you feel like your characters are underpowered, you can choose to use a Support Character instead. A Support Character is another player's character that they have built and showcased on their profile. You can use characters from either your friends or strangers, and also filter based on Combat Types and Paths.

Calyx Challenge Combat

Once you have selected your team, click start to begin the challenge. Your goal is to defeat all of the enemies, and multiple waves if you want to consume more Trailblaze Power. A wave is added for every 10 Trailblaze Power you choose to consume. You can fight up to six waves of enemies, or consume 60 Trailblaze Power, each challenge.

Calyx Challenge Rewards

If all of your characters have been defeated, you will get the opportunity to try again. You will also get partial rewards if you completed some of the waves before defeat, which consumes the equivalent Trailblaze Power. If you succeed, you will have the opportunity to start a new challenge using the same amount of Trailblaze Power you originally set.
