It’s been around 8 years since Escape from Tarkov launched into early access and took the world by storm. In a recent update, Escape from Tarkov will finally leave early access and officially launch on November 15th this year!
Escape from Tarkov 1.0
It really seemed like the day would never come. But it’s true. Escape from Tarkov will finally launch into 1.0 on November 15th, 2025. Battlestate Games also released a short trailer alongside this announcement.
This reveal trailer also references the text-based game ‘Targrad Tales’, which began with an in-game event following Patch 0.16.9. However, the date of choice is a little interesting as COD Black Ops 7 releases merely one day before on the 14th of November. While many developers typically shy away from having clashing release dates, several devs have delayed their games in accordance with Silksong. Either Battlestate Games isn’t afraid of COD drawing their audience away, or perhaps other reasons.
In addition to the announcement, Nikita Buyanov, the game director and COO of Battlestate Games, posted another teaser on X.
This translates into the following:
EVACUATION!
The administration of the city of Tarkov informs:
Due to the declared state of emergency, citizens must proceed to the following evacuation points:
- Sanatorium “Azure Coast”
Norvinsk Region, city of Tarkov, Primorsky st., 28 - Shopping Center “ULTRA”
Norvinsk Region, city of Tarkov, Primorsky st., 73
This is possibly alluding to an event, updates, or possible reworks to both Shoreline & Interchange.
