Gold making in WoW Forever matters right from the start of your journey. Spell upgrades, professions, mount skills, and storage space all cost money, and Forever has no WoW Token option, so saving it from step one will help you in the long run.
Here’s one little trick you can use to make saving the pennies a little easier!
Bank Alts and Disenchanting
Now, this trick may not be new to any veteran Classic players, but if you’re new to WoW or coming from Retail, here’s what you can do.
First step, make a “bank alt” and head to Orgrimmar or Stormwind. Learn Enchanting on this alt, and then park it at the mailbox next to the auction house. While you’re questing on your main, send all your green and blue items that you don’t need to this alt.
Next step, head to CurseForge and download Auctionator and Disenchantry. Auctionator will add current auction house prices for your item to your tooltips, while Disenchantry will display the expected disenchant value.
Using both addons together will help you determine whether you’d get more gold (or copper at this point, let’s be honest) from selling on the auction house or disenchanting your item.
This method won’t make you 10s of gold per hour, but it’ll sure help you stop throwing away those necessary pennies in the beginning!
