Season 2 of Midnight has started, and players are once again racing towards upgrading their gear. Once again, there are a few sources of Mistcrests that do not count towards the season cap. Do not miss out on these!
Uncapped Crests from Tier 11 Delve
Completing a Tier 11 Delve for the first time this season will give you a 
Cracked Keystone as one of the end-of-delve chest rewards. This item starts the quest Cracked Keystone, which requires you to complete a Mythic Keystone dungeon at +2 difficulty or higher.
This is a one-time quest that rewards you with 20 
Hero Mistcrest and 30 
Myth Mistcrest, both uncapped.
Uncapped Crests from Azta’rec Delve Nemesis
Like Nullaeus in Season 1, Azta’rec also grants uncapped Crests on your first kill.
- Killing Azta’rec on Tier ? gives 30 uncapped Hero Mistcrest.
- Killing Azta’rec on Tier ?? gives 30 Hero Mistcrest and 30 Myth Mistcrest, both uncapped.
- If you kill Azta’rec on Tier ?? first, you will receive both crest rewards and no longer need to kill him on Tier ?.
In addition to these, Azta’rec will drop another 5 Hero Mistcrest and 5 Myth Mistcrest when looted. These are season-capped. You can see the uncapped crests below:
