With Season 2, Prey gets a pretty big update, adding four new snake-themed bosses, new rewards, and the new Curse of the Isle mode.
What’s New for Season 2?
Curse of the Isle adds a little extra torment to your regular world content. After a short questline in Silvermoon, you can head through Astalor’s portal to the Coiled Isle and speak to the image of Astalor to activate the curse. This applies all of the Nightmare Prey affixes to the zone’s world content.
The main goal here is to summon and defeat Ral’kala, a repeatable boss that can drop Remnants of Anguish, Voidlight Marl, Champion and Hero Crests, plus a new pet, toy, and mount!

More gear never seemed like a bad idea! You’ll unlock 
Afflicted Souls at Preyhunter’s Journey Rank 4 and 
Tormented Souls at Rank 9. These drop from Tier 6+ Bountiful Delves and instantly reveal your next Nightmare Prey, while also giving you an extra piece of Champion/Hero level gear, respectively.
Season 2 Shakes Up the Affixes
Prey Season 1’s affixes are gone, with three new affixes taking their places!

Pack Ambush – A pack of serpentine enemies will ambush you on your hunt -
Exploding Corpse Snakes – After defeating an enemy, snakes will come to poison you -
Toxic Snare – Heavy AoE damage with a slow
Normal Prey will only have Pack Ambush active, while Hard and Nightmare have all three.
