The upcoming 2.2 banner in Zenless Zone Zero is almost here, and the latest leaks revealed who will be featured in the new banners!
Of course, you can expect the two new characters from the Obol Squad, Seed and Orphie, as well as reruns of Trigger and Evelyn! According to the leak, Seed and Trigger should run during Phase 1, and Orphie and Evelyn during Phase 2!
Keep in mind that this can still change and places can be swapped! Knowing this, the big question is: should you pull for Orphie or Seed?
Here is a small overview to give you some hints that will help you decide!
Orphie – Fire Attacker
Orphie is a fire attack Agent, making her a great pick if you do not already have strong fire DPS agents. She is especially good for Soldier 0 Anby teams, as she is basically the missing piece in the S0 Anby and Trigger team!
So if you are missing a strong Fire DPS, or you have both S0 Anby and Trigger, and are missing the 3rd teammate, you should definitely pull for Orphie!
Seed – Electric Attacker
Seed is an electric attack Agent. She will most likely powercreep existing electric DPS like S0 Anby, but there is some uncertainty until testing confirms it. Seed also wants teammates like Trigger and Orphie to shine, meaning she is also heavily dependent on team composition.
If you already have S0 Anby, you are probably better off pulling for Orphie, since Seed also works best with her. If you do not have S0 Anby, Seed is a solid choice to cover Electric DPS. Even without Trigger or Orphie, Seed can still be more useful on her own than S0 Anby in some setups.
What You Need to Remember
- Pull Orphie if you need a fire DPS or want to strengthen your S0 Anby team.
- Pull Seed only if you are looking for stronger electric DPS, but note she is more team-dependent.
- Wait if you can. If you do not need fire or electric right now, it might be smart to see what other characters or banners are coming before spending your pulls.
At the end of the day, both characters are valuable and bring team potential. Your choice should depend on your current roster and your own personal feeling towards the character. If you simply like how Orphie or Seed look, then go for it.
