Kakao Games recently held their quarterly conference call which provided a handful of updates across their portfolio – including some updates on the development of Chrono Odyssey. For the full recording of the conference call, as well as the performance report, click here.

Although the highlight of this call wasn’t focused on Chrono Odyssey, there were still some important updates provided, as well as a few questions around the future of the game.

Chrono Odyssey Release Date: Delayed Until Q2 2027

Likely the most important update that came from this call was that the official “launch” and release of Chrono Odyssey is now pushed back to Q2 2027 (back from what was originally planned for Q1 2027 that was reported in the previous quarterly call).

During the conference call, the team stated, “we don’t expect to see any major changes to the revised timelines we’re sharing today”, with the Co-CEO adding, “there will not be any further delays”.

Whether or not that’s true, only time will tell.

What’s Next?

The Chrono Odyssey community has been waiting for updates, and sadly, more waiting is going to happen until there are some concrete answers and specifics around the development around Chrono Odyssey. There are still no updates regarding an additional closed beta test – but fingers are crossed as there should be some more detailed information being announced before the end of 2026.
