Lord of Hatred will launch very soon, and two of its biggest new systems are probably already on your radar: The Horadric Cube and the Talisman system. Both are worth understanding before you get too deep into the endgame, so here is a quick breakdown of each.
Horadric Cube
The Cube is essentially a powerful crafting tool that gives you direct control over your gear. You can add affixes, reroll stats, upgrade item rarity, transfigure Legendaries and Uniques, and even craft Unique Charms from existing gear. It unlocks after completing the campaign and requires specific crafting materials, most of which drop from War Plans caches and Tree of Whispers rewards. Undercity will be the best spot to farm those materials efficiently.

Talisman System
The Talisman system adds a completely new layer to how you build your character. It consists of a Seal, which determines how many Charm slots you have, and Charms that slot into it. Set Charms activate bonuses based on how many pieces from the same set you equip, and Unique Charms let you slot actual Unique items into your Talisman instead of a gear slot, opening up a lot of interesting build options.

Both systems work closely together since the Horadric Cube has recipes specifically for crafting and rerolling Charms.
