How Hard Will It Be to Get Chaos Armor in Diablo 4 Season 10?

One feature is already standing out in Diablo 4 Season 10: Season of Infernal Chaos, and that is Chaos Armor. These new gear pieces will definitely change the endgame meta, but they come with a catch. Unlike standard Uniques, Chaos Armor is account bound, meaning you can not trade or buy it from other players. If you want a full set in the right slots, you will need to grind it out yourself.

Why Is Chaos Armor So Good

Chaos Armor is designed for high-level activities and will likely become mandatory for builds pushing the hardest content, including:

These armor pieces open up the possibilities for new combinations and builds, changing the current meta, and allowing players to create original compositions.

Chaos Armor really changes things up because it lets you use Uniques in slots they normally would not drop in. For example, Scoundrel's KissScoundrel’s Kiss can show up as Chaos Armor in any slot from Head to Boots, and that means you can finally pair it with other Rings instead of being locked to just one.

How to get Chaos Armor in Season 10

There are only a few ways to farm Chaos Armor:

  • Chaos Rifts – Sealing rifts inside Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons can drop Chaos Armor.
  • Infernal Hordes – Appears as a reward chest drop, even if you do not defeat the final boss.
  • Bartuc, Lord of Chaos – The most reliable source, guaranteeing a drop on Torment 3 and 4. To fight him, you will need to spend 666 Burning Aether after an Infernal Hordes run. This is a tough encounter, but also the most consistent way to secure Chaos Armor.

Unlike other Uniques, Chaos Armor is account bound, meaning you will not be able to trade them with other players, so farming is unavoidable. It opens up exciting new build paths, but players chasing specific slots may spend the entire season grinding for the perfect setup.

If you are looking for Chaos Armor in all your slots, and some uniques need to be in a specific one, you might have to grind for the whole season before you get what you want. There is no way to target farm any of those uniques, and even less way to target them for specific slots.

You Don’t Need to Drop Them for Specific Slots

As a reminder, Chaos Armor always drops with max rolls and one Greater Affix, no matter the slot it lands in. So unless you really need to keep a normal Unique or Mythic in a certain slot, it is usually best to just grab the piece with the best rolls. It does not really matter if it goes on your head, gloves, chest, boots, or pants.

All in all, Chaos Armor gives you a lot of freedom to experiment with new builds, but getting the pieces you want is going to take some serious farming. Start chasing those rifts, Infernal Hordes, and take on Bartuc if you are aiming for the best setup. Your perfect Chaos Armor combo might take the whole season to pull together, but the payoff could be huge!
