Following the release of the super cool new lore teaser “Song of the Welkin Moon Teaser: Moonlit Ballad of the Night“, Genshin Impact has officially revealed several new characters from the upcoming region of Nod-Krai!
These characters will definitely play an important role in the story surrounding the moon, and the next part of the Traveler’s journey. Each one of those characters was revealed on Genshin Impact’s social media after the release of the teaser. They all have pretty distinct designs!
Here is a first look at each of them!
Nicole Reeyn
Also known as “N”, Nicole Reeyn is part of the Hexenzirkel.
Aino
Aino is from the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop, and she is the designer of Ineffa. She also seems to be rather close to Nefer.
Varka
Varka is the current Grand Master and Knight of Boreas of the Knights of Favonius. We know that he left on an expedition with eighty percent of the Knights of Favonius to try to solve some mysteries.
Jahoda
Not much is known about her. The teaser is the first time she appears.
Durin
Durin was originally a dragon created by Rhinedottir. He was later “brought back to life” by Albedo. Often called “mini-Durin”, he is an alchemical creation, similar to Albedo.
In the teaser, he is seen alongside Jahoda and Ineffa. It looks like they are all in Nod-Krai. Since Albedo and Alice are also there, chances are they all came together (with Wanderer as well).
Sandrone
Sandrone is the Seventh Fatui harbinger, also known as “Marionette“. The teaser is the first time we actually see her.
Lauma
Lauma seems to be a member of the Frostmoon Scions, supposedly a rebel group. This is also the first time we really see her.
Nefer
We don’t know much about Nefer. She does appear next to Varka, and seems to have been telling him the stories of the Moon, but that is basically it so far.
Flins
Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins is one of the most mysterious characters we have seen during this teaser! It is his first appearance, and so far it is hard to know if he will be our friend or foe!
Columbina
Long awaited, Columbina, also known as “Moon Maiden” or “Damselette“, is the Third Fatui Harbinger.
Alice
Alice, also known as “A”, is a member of the Hexenzirkel. She is also the mother of Klee and the one who founded the Hexenzirkel.
Nod-Krai will definitely be a major stop in the Traveler’s journey after Natlan. With references to cold moons, ancient rebellion, and more, this will be a bridge between a ton of lore and mysteries. It also seems to be a center where a ton of long-awaited and new characters are gathering! Each of them seem to carry a piece of the forgotten history of Teyvat. It is time to finally uncover the truth!
